Andrew Johnson, EA Sports Community Manager for Madden NFL 25 has stated via Twitter, that a fix for the vanishing players users are seeing in the demo (mostly PS3 users) is in Title Update #1. It is scheduled to release when the game arrives in stores on August 27th.

We are trying to confirm whether or not Season Ticket subscribers will get the patch before that date. If we get any other additional patch details today, we'll update this post.

UPDATE: Andrew just confirmed the title update will be available for Season Ticket subscribers.

I choked on my lunch. This is the best post I've ever read on here. Lol

Reminiscing the 'Andrew Bynum Jesus' NBA Live Demo video

its funny that all of the major glitches in madden didnt come until the next gen when xbox became the flagship for madden. when sony was the flagship there were less problems and the game was less arcade like. but starting with madden06 the gameplay changed to arcade style. take madden back to the madden05 days where there were fewere gltches and less arcade gameplay

Looks like the demo, is not so early after all.
We are still here bubba and EA isnt perfect never claimed to be, its a company a work place unforssen things will happen every year, everyday, im just happy there is a demo and its not 3 min 2 teams no sound, yeah the bug sucks but at everyones jobs things happen pizza hut somehow ran out of dough by my house the other day. Amazon sent my package to the wrong city with the same name as mine, i dont get on a forum an gripe and moan it happens calm down. Long as there going to fix it cool no worries. Ill still be playing next friday son!

Im shocked this glitch made it past testers to be in the demo, and even more shocked its gonna be in the final build.

I only played two games of the demo, and in both games the players disappeared for entire drives- it was always the CPU on defense

Almost all the games nowdays are released with lots of bugs and fixex later. We, as consumer, have lost.

Because it shouldn't have been undercooked in the first place.

Why is the kitchen sending out undercooked food? Why is it sending out food that it KNOWS is undercooked?

It wouldn't fly in a restaurant if it sent out undercooked food to everyone who came in on Aug 27.

If I owned that restaurant, I'd fire the kitchen staff. Knowingly sending out undercooked food is just completely wrong on all levels.

This is still a thing?

Why? They STILL haven't figured out how to do assists in "I.E. 2.0"?

Why not, everyone who tackles the ball carrier gets an assist? I've seen CLEAR instances of assists in M13 (the same ones that would have triggered it in M12). If I can see it, I'm sure they can too...
Kitchens dont always catch everything they get busy and stuff falls through the cracks pretty sure that happens at your job to assuming you work. again things happen and to call people lazy and all without walking a milein there shoes is not cool you all think the dev process is so easy and this should be easy to fix or that should be easy to fix...if that was the case why does every sports game especially have legacy issues EVERY sports game does even the beloved fifa and nba 2k.

How does something like this even make it pass testing!?! Now THIS is gamebreaking. People on here always talk about a game is broken, or a feature is broken, no, this is a gamebreaker. You let this slip into the final build? I don't give a damn what system it's on, it's inexcusable. The fact that there needs to be a day 1 patch to fix this blows my mind! What about the people that don't have internet connection? They really thought this was fine and they could sell the game where half the players on the field disappear? Get it together, this is ridiculous

Exactly what i'm saying. I know a ton of guys who own a PS3 and don't have internet access to download patches. Now I know a ton of guys are going to come in here and say that's crazy, and that everyone should have internet access these days.

That's just not the case, believe it or not, some people really aren't well off enough to afford internet on a monthly basis. Yeah they may have afforded a PS3 and can buy the game, but they don't pay for those monthly. It's a sad situation that they let something like this get into the final retail build of the game.

Pretty remarkable. I have a PS3 so I'm pissed. A few posters above were saying how modern games seems to always release with bugs now that older games didn't have. The new modern game development workflow = we are essentially QA. Pretty genius by them because they don't have to pay for QA, and we still buy the games.

Pretty sure you can download the update to a thumb drive and then put it on your console. Now if you have zero access to the internet in this day and age, best of luck to you.

Now now people, let's not all jump on EA for this... It's just not the compassionate thing to do... We're all human... We all make mistakes... Think of Jesus...

Yup, over the course of this gen (since online passes came in) people have always gone to gamestops in particular/poorer cities or parts of town to buy used game cause 99% of the time the online pass will not have been used.

PS3 users all over the world are in for a rude awakening on August 27th. What makes it even sadder is that the ps3 user base had to inform EA "u know this is broken right." EA and Sony just don't mix this gen.

Lol at the community event people fronting that the demo is so old when HUGE bugs like this are in the final build. I mean, you can't get a bigger bug in ANY game than to have the players on the screen disappearing. EA really saved their best for last.

The community event people only played it on xbox, that's probably the problem. I went back and looked at the community videos, every single one of them is on Xbox. I guarantee you they would have caught it.

Do they just not test the PS3 version of the game? This is just something that blows my mind. I know they just port the game to PS3 but come on, invisible players, in the final build? How? Just how

Can they fix the BS player models for ****s sake?? Guys like Jordy Nelson look like they have 75 inch wastes. They had this shotty BS in M13 and it apparently carried over into M25 without a care, and now the newest additions to the BLUNDER BOWL is helmets that don't fit on players heads. Aaron Freakin Rodgers for example. Maybe next year they can put their arms and legs on backwards. Also, Russell Wilson looks like Flava Flav!!!!
