That's kinda what I'm trying to verify.... if not post them, at least confirm they are the same....

Seems odd they took pass rushing away.

# 23 Steve_OS @ 08/13/13 08:28 AM
They are the same.

Gonna fool around with some sliders tonight after work.

As expected the run game is WAY overpowered. The D just can NOT get off blocks until the RB gains 5-6 yds at least.

QB are Insanely accurate. Not one incomplete pass due to over/under throw.

Sigh.... And so it begins.
Difficulty..?

Downloading now. I think if your complaint about Madden is the difficulty and you come to this forum, cmon.. just change the sliders or at least play on All-Madden. When was the last time all-pro was difficult?

I am trying not to drop the "its just a demo, wait till game, its just the ga,e wait till patch, its just a patch, wait still second patch" routine. I am not impressed with the demo. I felt Madden 12 and Madden 13 had cleaner gameplay than NCAA 12 and NCAA 13. Not seeing that here.

My biggest gripe isn't the run blocking, because I fully expected that. I assume they just copy and pasted coding from NCAA on that one. My grippest gripe is with the coverage. I don't understand why coverage has taken so many steps back. NCAA 12 had awesome zone coverage out the box and I guess guys must have complained about that or something because now only a couple zone coverages are ever a viable option. They need to bring DEFENSE back into these games, especially Madden.

I've always had more faith in the Madden team than NCAA, to be honest, so I have to hope that a number of issues were fixed. I don't want to start another "THE GCs FAILED US" conversation but, man, I just don't know how guys are playing this and telling the public good things. What I am playing right now is not "sim" in the least bit....

Of course I am still buying day one, I just hope they changed a heck of a lot in retail...

Hm, guess I'm in the minority here but I'm certainly enjoying it. It's not perfect, that's for sure, but I think this is probably one build prior to release. Run blocking is pretty good as far as linemen go, but I definitely had a couple of the Packers LBs get through when I ran a stretch play. Haven't had any of the weird injury issues come up that a couple others posted.

Looks like the presnap camera got pulled too far back. Maybe they did this on purpose so the close-up view of the next gen camera will stand out even more?

How about the OL Blocking? Is there sometimes 2 olinemen on 1 Dlinemen sometimes like in real life?? OR is it 1 on 1 like always..
AND how about the DB's -they cover real or is the wr's making supercatches like always???

Is there cornerback assignments in the game again? Like can I put revis island on megaton all game again or did they leave that out again?

Just wanted to confirm that the skills trainer is broken. They do not get you the prompts/tutorial I have seen in youtube videos. So you can do whatever move to to the endzone but you will fail. I randomly passed 2 out of 4. It is suppose to say, Do a stiffarm. You do a stiffarm. Pass.

Moving on to a game now.

Can anyone please put me out of my misery and let us know whether assisted tackles work this year?

As someone who worked on sliders last year I feel your pain lol. I'll check for it

Aaron Rodgers model kind of looks like that guy from how I met your mother.

From the first kickoff with Cobb you run so much slower without RT. But you have so much more control of your direction.

Can someone just give the pros and cons of the demo. A lengthy explanation of what they really think if the demo I would if I wasn't stuck at work.

# 37 bowld @ 08/13/13 09:11 AM
Looked at halftime stats for both teams and noticed there are "0" assisted tackles for either team.

And...my game just froze

The camera view seems like its too far back. There is an extra 2 or 3 inches they show outside the receiver that I don't need to see at all. Makes the players less detailed and graphics from a distance look worse.

But I can see the whole field without having to constantly pull the camera back which is good. Just a little too far.

I feel like there is much more control of the qb in the pocket as well. I still love passing more than that read option stuff so I picked the packers. Bouncing around the pocket with Rodgers is pretty fun

As others have stated. I am not a fan of the pulled back camera view. I know I can go back the view from last year ( which is still a little too far back for my taste). With today's age of wide screen TVs I am not sure why its so hard to a zoomed in wide angle shot.

Not completely true. I played as the Seahawks just now and Wilson threw some bad passes and I threw 3 picks with him as well. I lost to GB 0-7 final score. It was on All pro settings. The QBs ain't Insanely accurate. But they are accurate a lot of the times. But when your on the run their accuracy goes down some. But overall it's ok.
