They made Russ Wilson's skin color way too dark. Also, what is up with the neck/shoulders of player models and coaches? They all look like they have humpbacks or something lol

Why the **** is Russel Wilson black?

Edit- Wow unintended back to back posts about Wilson's skin lol

so my impressions loved the run modifiers i love to run the ball so im a little biased, the engine feels great and the presentation is pretty good even the close ups which are close but i dont mind them its something new there trying. I like gameplay i ran a dive with lynch and got to the second level used the modifier to bounce it outside without geting tripped up or grabbed like in m13. I didnt pass very much due to having to go to work and really wanted to check out run free!

Honestly not bad after playing im still excited to play next friday! cant wait to see owner mode should be a fun game.

I don't have a LIVE sub, when will the demo be available to me?

Its cool. I dont really have anything specific to say about it that I haven't touched on already with NCAA 14 (they've always been damn near the same game imo). I do wish the NCAA devs would make the player models as crisp and clean as the Madden player models.

Yes 10 was one of the best on this gen. 11 was my least favorite. I actually liked 13, but this is a much cleaner infinity engine than 13 had.

Very raw first impressions:

- Game feels much smoother than M13 and even NCAA 14
- So glad there's a fumble slider b/c lack of fumbles in NCAA were killing me
- Default camera angle is horrible. Does anyone actually enjoy this??
- CPU is terrible at stopping option plays, feels like I'm cheating when I run them
- Run blocking seems overpowered but could get better w/ slider adjustments
- Pass coverage looks very weak just like NCAA

Game looks like it will definitely be an upgrade over M13 but that's not saying much since that game was a complete disaster.

Available sliders

PASSING :

Qb accuracy
Pass blocking
Wr catching

RUSHING :

Run blocking
Fumbles

PASS DEFENSE :

Reaction time
Interceptions
Pass coverage

RUSH DEFENSE :

Tackling

Why is ea taking away more and more sliders each year

First game was with the 49ers against the Ravens on All Pro...

I shouldn't have been up 42-7 shortly after halftime, especially in such an accelerated game. Sliders will definitely be implemented.

There were five injuries in a game that only featured 50 plays from scrimmage. Each team's kick returner was injured once as well as Joe Flacco being injured twice in the first three quarters, the second time was in the third quarter and held him out for the rest of the game.

Frank Gore fumbled the ball without any contact as he lost his footing and tripped to the ground running through a hole.

I was 9 of 10 passing with Kaepernick for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns. Throwing deep definitely felt too easy and my first thought after I successfully went deep for a touchdown twice in a row was "Oh great, the DB glitch from NCAA 14 is in!"

Of course, with sliders implemented once the game actually comes out I expect these things to be improved, otherwise hopefully it's just me and I need to try the game on All-Madden. Hopefully all of those injuries were just coincidence and don't happen as regularly as they seemed to in this one game.

Was hoping the demo would change my plans of waiting for next gen madden.

It hasn't. Good bye xbox.

All pro default sliders and Rodgers has 195 yards and a completion pct of 92% against me so far. Sherman is getting destroyed almost every play and there is on avg about 8 yards of separation between defender and WR when they catch the ball.

Was impressed with the demo. Was glad to see zone coverage was improved! The days of cheesers exploting the seams may be over?!
Running game was fun! The modifier makes for some interesting chooses as to which moves you wanna combine.
Option formations were deep, ever though its been noted the option blocking WILL be tuned done with the games release in a couple weeks.
Blocking in general was pleasantly improved! Running up field and blocking relevant defenders.
NEW audible system is a nice touch. Another great aspect that will reduce cheese in online ranked matches.
The stamina bar at the base of each player (ESP. RBs) will force people to not run so many no hurdle sessions. Plus force people to not try and make the BIG play every down, otherwise risk a fumble/ possible injury.
Loving how all this will make everyone think more realistically with your personnel.
Game still has some flaws. But overall... This is a much better game then it's predecessor.

Injuries and fatigue mechanic are way out of wack. 1st game I played, boldin, manningham, willis, gore, lemichael james and vernon davis all injured for the game. Smh. Also it seemed as if player's never got out of yellow fatigue status. I ended up turning off fatigue and bumped injuries way down to 5. Other then that im diggin the demo so far

This Demo is nice.

Running with the Jukes are very good. I particularly like running between the tackles for one one situations and winning with Gore!

Passing seem about the same compared to M13. The CPU on all-pro is no joke. Flacco completed for like 70% in one game, but I love it. I didn't like the fact that he kept going to his check down
Instead of throwing it away. I had two easy INTs with Willis in the first game..

Graphics seem cleaner and darker. Player movement seems very fluid. Some of the hitting make you pause and replay.lol

Defense in man is lockage. I guess this is all I'll see online. With that said, zone play is smart and the D seems to bait you on some routes.

Special teams seem OK. The CPU almost juke glitched me to a TD! Lol

I really like the Demo and running will be used a lot more, especially for guys who have running QBs with the Pistol sets . Overall I'm impressed.

I'm really enjoying the demo so far. Plugged in Jarrod's NCAA sliders and it seems to have drastically improved the gameplay for me. Seems like it's a little too easy to complete passes over the top of zones though. Like on intermediate crossing routes that go a little deeper than the front line of the zone but in front of the deep zone guys. Running the ball is a lot of fun so far and seems pretty realistic. Had a stretch play develop when I was using the Seahawks, but Clay Matthews got a push to the outside, and instead of cutting up the inside, I tried to go around him since he was being blocked and he made a really nice arm tackle that slowed Lynch up enough for one of his teammates to come and finish me off. That was pretty great to see after I've been reading that guys can't get off their blocks at all.

My biggest gripe isn't the run blocking, because I fully expected that. I assume they just copy and pasted coding from NCAA on that one. My grippest gripe is with the coverage. I don't understand why coverage has taken so many steps back. NCAA 12 had awesome zone coverage out the box and I guess guys must have complained about that or something because now only a couple zone coverages are ever a viable option. They need to bring DEFENSE back into these games, especially Madden.

I've always had more faith in the Madden team than NCAA, to be honest, so I have to hope that a number of issues were fixed. I don't want to start another "THE GCs FAILED US" conversation but, man, I just don't know how guys are playing this and telling the public good things. What I am playing right now is not "sim" in the least bit....

Of course I am still buying day one, I just hope they changed a heck of a lot in retail...
Bro! Same issue in Madden 13 Demo, wasn't very clear, seemed not as good as Madden 12. But once Madden 13 came out it was awesome and very clear on my LED TV, no complaints about 13 accept for the franchise/connective careers areas, not being able to have custom playbook options in franchise mode for practice or game play. It was miles better than Madden 12 which had major freezing issues Madden 13 didn't freeze on me at all all year.

I don't have a LIVE sub, when will the demo be available to me?

Is there something I'm missing, is there a reason no one is answering me? :/

This feels like my childhood all over again. #foreveralone
