I've been anxiously waiting since this tweet to watch this video!
Let's see some CPU option attack!
Let's see some CPU option attack!
Wow that was fun to watch
- CPU AI on option was on point for the most part. QB played great and the running wasn't PERFECT, but it was good enough IMO.
- CPU was able to pass when comfortable in the pocket. 2/2 when not pressured. 0/1 when pressured but it was fun to see him try to get away and throw on the run.
- User was able to clamp down on the option with a couple nice D plays. It wasn't unstoppable.
- Watching the CPU D AI dive after the runner was awesome.
I was not a fan of how late some of the pitches were though.

That hit at 1:55! BOOM!
Other than the computer running the option out of the hurry up, it looks amazing.

This is a game changer. Imagine what the CPU will do with some tough heisman sliders

I can't deny this is as good as I've seen the cpu AI since last-gen. Can't wait to see how the cpu uses Oregon on higher difficulty levels.

Looks good. There were some blocks that I thought the wing back should have picked up on. With the play diagrams on, you could see where an OLB should have been blocked. Instead the wingback just ran by and brushed him.
See the run right before the 9:00 mark.

This has gotten me really excited. The last two years of NCAA made it impossible to use the academy schools or Georgia Tech because of how bad the blocking was on option plays. This looks vastly improved and gives me hope. Wish there had been more handoffs to the B-Back, though.
Another thing I noticed...
GT seemed to run the option to the left/right depending on how much open space there was. Every single option run went to the side with more open field.
That was very nice but hopefully it isn't a 100% tendency. This was a small sample size though.
* I could have missed a run or two that did not follow this pattern *

Does it look like it could over powered if someone learns to run it well? I can't watch until I get on a computer or someone uploads a Youtube version...
Steve, can we get this on YouTube? Can't wait watch on my iPhone. Really want to see the CPU run the option.
