Where is the normal NCAA Football dev team and what in the hell has happened to them. This doesn't even look like EA football !!

Let me tell you, this is an awkward feeling not being able to talk **** about the EA football games. I feel like the grinch when he gets all tingly inside.

It's different in that you won't be around for impressions this year.

I'm still a bit on the fence with this game. Don't get me wrong the cpu option looks greatly improved from previous years, and I dig the new camera angle, something I'll have to get used to though. I'm not seeing the "new" collision mechanics, it looks like the same tackling animations from previous years. Between plays the animations look the same and the celebration/team interaction animations look exactly the same as in previous years. The point is the gameplay, for me, has gotten stale. Maybe with the new additions in the recruiting and coach mini games this game will be great. When the next gen releases hit their stride in a few years hopefully I can get excited about this game again.

Late to the party but man oh man this was fun to watch. Can't wait to do an option based dynasty. I honestly couldn't tell who was human and who was computer. Tuesday needs to hurry up please.

Ditto - playing the game is where it's at but I actually was having fun watching it (especially watching the computer and how much they have improved it).

Don't want to bring any negative vibes in what is a really positive thread but just gotta say......EA needs to get better at hyping this. That A&M Vs. LSU clip versus what we see from this.....that Army V. Navy clip has me so excited to try out the demo now. Everything in this clip from E3 was evident....the improved running, the improved AI, the Infinity Engine. In comparison, that A&M Vs. LSU clip was useless.

Thanks for posting the video, Steve.

First day buy for sure.....please don't make a patch that will mess with the CPU rushing attack it's a thing of beauty..

I can't wait for next gen college football..

Is this the default camera?

That was very nice but hopefully it isn't a 100% tendency. This was a small sample size though.

* I could have missed a run or two that did not follow this pattern *
I assume you meant Navy, not Tech. But I know at Tech we don't run it to the side with more space every play. You force the D to use guys to make sure the play is covered if it goes to the wide side and then you attack the short side, keeps them honest and occasionally you can catch them napping and gouge them when they focus on the wide side of the field.

I don't have the percentages of how often we run to the short side (nor could I come up with a number), but I feel like we do it 10-20% of plays depending on the game. So yeah hopefully this is reflected in the how the CPU runs it, it definitely shouldn't be 100%.

It's the coordinator cam - which I am assuming is not set as the default.

There's also a wide cam, the regular cam (last year's) and a close-up one (don't remember the proper name of the last two).

For the first time in forever, it looks like fun to play NCAA Football. The CPU running the option like that is just awesome to see.

Is this the swan song EA has been waiting for? Is this finally the year, we get a replay value that keeps you coming back for me. Is this finally the year the masses will agree that the game is good?

Everything I see so far is starting to motivate my cause to call in on Wednesday/Thursday to really "dive" into this game.

Running the option with a Service Academy Dynasty, might actually be worth the effort now.

Can. Not. Wait.

This looks great! Looks like he was on varsity or below on offense. idk what he was playing when Navy. Can't wait for the demo and can't wait for July 9th!

Traded in NCAA 13 today, and am glad I did. Never saw anything like what Steve recorded for us. Amazing to see the CPU really dominate at times with the option. This game, NCAA 14, is going to make me not regret getting a PS4 or Xbox One.

Navy has run a no-huddle option for a few years now. They had South Carolina on the ropes with it last year. Air Force uses a no-huddle at times, as does Army.

wow...this is probably the most encouraging gameplay video ive seen of this game, and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAMERA VIEW. Is this the WIDE view?

also love the gang tackle at 8:20 mark. i think i shall be purchasing this.

if only they had just added the revo 2-bar face mask (((

This is EA Sports gameplay for football?

IMPOSSIBLE!

I've been saying for the longest that I was going to buy this used so I wouldn't support the product like I did last year but screw that. This looks fun. I'm going to buy this day one.

I'm so going to use that zoomed out cam too. The ugly animations aren't as apparent from that view. The CPU AI looks fun as hell to play against.

Playing against the Oregons of the world that play like the CPU in the video is getting me extra excited. That's what college football is supposed to do. Inspire an exciting brand of gameplay. Been lacking for too many years in regards to CPU vs Player 1.
