The folks at Tradition Sports Online nailed down the initial list of team ratings in NCAA Football 14. Have a look at all 126 teams and their ratings below:
south carolina is the worst rated top 25 team. its what i expected though, make clowney the best player on the game then screw over the rest of the roster.
UNC is the 13th best team in the country? What the hey? I don't think I have seen us ranked anywhere. I like our offense rating, but rating our defense at 91! That is the same defense that gave up 68 points at home to Georgia Tech and lost its two best players to the NFL! Oh Well
Kansas Overall-81 Offense-84 & Defense-78????? I love my Jayhawks but we haven't won a conference game in basically 3 years. I realize we'd have a better record playing in a lower conference but that is still way too high...
EA inflates everything so casual fans will be happy.
I wonder if we edit it so its far more spread out and more accurate, I wonder how the progression system will work down the line in dynasty
Vandy the lowest ranked SEC East team? Behind my Kentucky Wildcats? That is just wrong. UK should be ranked a lot lower and Vandy should be at least what UT is.
Dear Roster adjusters. Your work will be. much appreciated in the coming months. These ratings are just horrific. I am going to disallow any competition from Alabama period.
how in the world Baylor is a 88 on defense they allowing 30.3 points last season and Alabama is overrated on offense 99 really ???????????????????????????????????? they should gave them a 91 on offense

In case you haven't watched college football in the past year, Bama is returning the most efficient QB in the nation, a top tier offensive line again, a top 2 if not the best RB in the SEC in Yeldon, and an All American caliber reciever in Amari Cooper
As a Bama fan I see nothing wrong with these ratings lol. I really never play with them though because the are rated so high. Lol it's still funny to me how every year someone says Bama is overrated and they CONTINUE to compete for a National title. I know the offense will be one of the best in the country with the guys that's returning. The D might be rated a little bit high tho. I think they should be at least a 96 or 97 for Losing Dee Milliner and Jesse Williams

their offense is one of the best in the country
I forgot about the 2 RB your right my fault shouldn't be a 99 tho like a 95 I didn't watch lot of Alabama game so I don't really know how good Amari Cooper is watch about 3 Alabama games last season

I think we all have different opinions of how teams in general should be rated and what ratings mean. To me, a 99 Offense should mean literally "the greatest college offense of all time". But that's what I think, maybe someone else thinks 99 is just for the best offense in a given year. As far as Bama specifically goes, I'm a UGA fan so I can attest to their offense being very underrated because everyone thinks of the defense when they think of Bama. Bama's offense is one of, if not the most efficient in the NCAA. They run the ball at will on just about everyone. I do have a problem with the 97 rating for AJ McCarron, but I do think he's a good QB, just not that good. Overall, I feel like they usually give Bama players a +5 overall bump because of the jersey they put on.

Hopefully though dynasty progression doesnt screw that up, which if I had to guess there will be a lot of highly rated players after a few years of computer generated recruits

I think McCarron is like a 87 or something I think he a game manager IMO I think he above average QB at best in Alabama offense he look like a Great I am a Oregon fan I think their ratings fine
Indiana was Big Ten #1 in passing offense, #2 in total offense, #4 in scoring last year, has virtually everyone returning on offense and is rated 11th best offense in the conference. EA what were you thinking?
