NBA 2K14 - Next Gen Reveal Trailer

2K Sports released their Next-Gen NBA 2K14 trailer during the Sony E3 2013 Press Conference this evening.

The 'NBA 2K14 – Next Gen Reveal' segment featured NBA 2K14 cover athlete LeBron James discussing life as "Video Game James" with a digital version of himself, while showing off some of his on the court moves in NBA 2K14. All of the footage was NOT pre-rendered and shown from a pre-alpha PS4 build.

There's some actual similarity, somehow, between this and what we've been revealed today.

Xbox One has NFL.... the $100 difference is big if I only was planning on using Xbox One for a few months or a year but I plan on having and keeping it for a while.... until it burns out at least.

I read somewhere the current and next gen versions will be totally different experiences (I think it was on twitter). So if thats true i'm just gonna have to pay more for the xbox one in Nov rather than wait longer and buy a PS4.

I wonder if they will port from the xbox one to PC to 360 i guess that makes more sense. The game might even be ported from the PS4 this time around since they claim it's more powerful.

when is the ps4 release date totally missed it, couldn't think of anything but 2k14.

noted and corrected. It's still a great improvement. If they can just fix a few of the gameplay quirks that have plagued the series for a while the sky's the limit for this franchise. Will be interesting to see what the "other game" has to offer. Either way it's a great time to be a sports gamer, particularly a basketball gamer. Competition always forces everyone to be on their A game, excited to see what the future holds for hoops after being relatively unenthused these past 2 years.

Noticed that too, I hope they're working on those kinds of animations. Looks robotic.

Everything else was absolutely wonderful. Kobe chasing from behind looked so real. Just pre-ordered the PS4, Im pumped.

Jersey, ive paid off 3 copies of 2k current gen, getting 3 ps4s for the house and 3 copies of 2k14 nextgen.. going to pay it all off tomorrow. my money is good, you have it easy...

They keep saying Holiday season, but i saw on Amazon Dec 31. That could just be a place holder though. I'm thinking they launch around the same time as the one.

It isn't pre-rendered it says so on the bottom line.

You never know with 2K... One day you see this (ex. Pads + Calf Sleeves on D Rose on a Pre-Launch Screen) next thin you know, it's not what it seems (No Pad + Sleeve combo)

Only complaint is that Lebrons mouth /jawline is a bitty off. and whats up with the zombie like scream after he dunks.
Other than that.. OH MY GOODNESSS!!!!!!
was going to wait to buy a next gen console, but not anymore!!!!!!
good job 2k cant wait to see whats under all the gloss.
