NCAA Football 14 News Post

EA Sports has posted another NCAA Football 14 blog. This one covers the sights and sounds from the game. There are plenty of little details in the blog, but most of you will be interested in the new camera views that are available in the game (Zoom, Wide, Coordinator).

Quote:
Last but not least is the Coordinator camera, which provides a view of the whole field initially, but dynamically zooms in during the play to follow the action. Traditionalists can still enjoy the Standard camera, but the new camera offers additional perspectives for anyone that wants to experience the game from a new angle. In addition, all these cameras will also be available in Road to Glory.

I will probably try out the new camera angles.

They keep boasting about Seven Nation Army and Kernkraft or whatever, I used to think these were just examples, but I'm starting to think they literally only got two songs to use in the stadiums! Hardly a feature, in my opinion.

I absolutely LOVE the wide camera angle! I've been waiting for this for a while.

Same here, The wide one looks interesting, being able to see the whole field.

I will finally be able to see that safety come flying in out of nowhere to tackle me on a big run!

I think I heard it somewhere that those are the only two songs in the game.

That's a shame. But I guess it's a good start. Would love to see Enter Sandman in eventually for VT and Sandstorm for South Carolina. Etc.

While it makes total sense to buy 7 nation army and Kernkraft 400 since those are played everywhere, there's no way that they'll pay for songs that are only used in 1 or a few stadiums (especially with everyone having the ability to add them themselves via stadium sounds).

Most of this is info we have already heard, but I really like the presentation elements this year. If the gameplay is solid and Dynasty got some nice additions, I'll be set.

Really curious as to what the other stadiums are going to be for the neutral field option...

Any stadium that doesn't have a game scheduled for that week is available for a neutral site game.

The colors seem to have more pop. Game looks brighter. The washed out dull look was one of my biggest complaints the last few years regarding the look of the game.

Happy to see that looks to be improved..

Judging by how often Skill position players got injured for a couple plays in NCAA 13 I'm guessing that's what happened lol.

It was the Purdue game, Guiton did lead the comeback after Xbrax360 nearly lost his life on that horsecollar tackle by Josh Johnson. lol

I can't begin to tell you how frustrating it is that they completely ignore cleats but they talk about looking good to play good. Cleats are such and important part of the uniform and they haven't been addressed in years...The fact that they know appearance matters and yet they still refuse to touch them blows my mind....what gives EA

This camera is really nice and no doubt it will make it a LOT easier to avoid tacklers in the open field. Hopefully the CPU will be able to do the same.

I really thought that new camera angle would be from more of a broadcast angle (offset and players running sideways instead of vertical).

I gotta say I'm a little disappointed... not in EA, but in myself

Anybody else getting really really tired of that same old ESPN scoreboard graphic?
