Is ETA for a prospect editable?

This blog is amazing. The new franny features are really well done, more than I could have ever imagined. I'm a fan of the number ratings because its easier to compare players. Not just based on overall, but based on the other ratings instead of having to flip between the two players repeatedly trying to determine which bar was longer. I understand why some people would be against the numbers though.

The new scouting feature is really really nice. In '12, it was very easy to scout the whole board and know the potential of every player in the draft. There was no risk involved, only reward. But with the new human error and accuracy measures in '13 the scouting will be much more of a challenge like it is in real life. I'm definitely going to have to test this out with the default SCEA rosters until OSFM come out and I can make my official Mets Franny.

The other features such as the cyber face for moving players, upcoming free agents, the new budget system (which I think is not perfect (Oakland's budget hasn't increased even with their recent success) but it is still better than '12's where the budget would never increase) and all of the little things are going to make this iteration of MLB The Show the best ever.

Now all I need is that RTTS Blog and I'll be set!

I agree, and would take it a step further. I'd like to see them go to all cyber faces in the future. That way you cant tell the difference between fake players (drafted, minor leaguers) and the real ones. All the portraits would be cyberfaces.

Trade all the players around and then trade them back and they will all be cyber faces. Alot of work but it gets you what you want.

Maybe Knight can do this in a roster update? or someone can take on that project.

I think its cool that the cyberfaces are assigned regardless.

Unfortunately it doesn't. I believe Knight confirmed that trading a player back to his original team restores his portrait.

None. The MLB ETA is only viewable during the scouting and draft screen. It is just an estimate of when the scout believes the player will be ready.

Like I said I asked if it could be added to the player card to see the ETA after the player was drafted, but there wasn't enough memory.

I believe there is alot more in regards to the franchise upgrades for the future. This is a step one and it is definitely heading in the right direction. All the guys involved in franchise are dedicated to bringing us alot of the things we have been asking for.

Yeah a lot of ordinary humans prefer numbers. I can definitely understand why though... it just makes things so much easier.

YEP, each position has an award winner.

nice and gold glove is better than in the past where it would just start with first team alphabetically in each league?

Is there a twitter icon on all player cards? I noticed it on the fake NYM Martin Owen.

Or does this mean they will have a fake twitter feed for some players?

No....it's just the same template.

If there is not an approved tag....no feed.(perhaps in the future though?)

I'm not worried about the numbers. They will be nice if they show in attributes like baserunning ability or contact vs. L. I just ignore the overall because you can miss out on some useful situational bench players that way.

RUSSELL & WOODWEAVER: I have to side with seanjeezy here. It is great that letter grades are affected by position (which is awesome btw) but it would be nice to have some input, maybe just the most egregious players, for the roster updates. You guys do so much for us and listen to us more than any devs I've known and it is soooo appreciated!!! I'm not asking for a mile from the inch you've given but it is for your benefit as well since the OSFM rosters add so much replay value and furthers sales from previous owners...

I was not aware of this forum last year so help me with something. I have read references to " Knight's Roster" and the "Operation Sports Franchise Mode Rosters". What are these rosters and how are they loaded into franchise mode? Thanks for your patience with this "newbie"!!!

Will the player's card still have an empty twitter panel though? From the twitter feature blog it seemed like they added a whole new panel to the player cards for twitter.

From what I remember yes. Any player that does not use twitter, or generated players will have a blank panel.

Hmm, what I thought would happen, but that's odd they would just leave the blank panel there. Just to confirm, there is no way to get rid of that panel? As in just disable twitter. I think it was already said that it can't be turned off, but I can't remember now for sure.
