NCAA Football 13 News Post

The October NCAA Football 13 title update has arrived for the PS3, weighing in at 34 MB.

No sign of the 360 title update, as of yet. Once it is available for the 360, we'll update this post.

UPDATE: Title update available now for 360.

FYI, the Dynasty fixes should take effect in existing Dynasties. No need to start over.

Below are the list of fixes.

Gameplay
  • Fixed issue where running the no-huddle was taking too long.
  • Fixed an issue where players were sometimes not breaking the huddle.
  • Fixed it so receivers won’t slip as much on the turf when it is raining.
Dynasty
  • Fixed it where prospects were softly committing to schools even though they were not on that school’s recruiting board or showed any interest.
  • Fixed some recruiting logic where CPU teams were not offering scholarships to some prospects.
  • Fixed an issue with uploading highlights to Dynasty Wire.
  • Made the sorting on the Recruiting more user friendly so that it remembers previous sorts.
  • Fixed an issue where a prospect with low interest was getting changed to “N/A”.
  • Fixed an issue where some Online Dynasties were losing players and coaches.
  • Fixed a problem where promises were getting deleted.
Online Head-to-Head
  • Fixed a reporting issue where if someone went offsides three times it forced their opponent into a loss.
Stability
  • Increased the stability of the product by fixing various crashes.

Yep PS3 as well 1.04 34mb

One thing confirm is that no huddle works quicker now.

Maybe its a mirage but the Sliders seem more aggressive now. I am using Fistofrage sliders and with CPU Pass acc at 5 I have seen more overthrown balls the before the patch and I noticed with RB Ability at 95, I have seen a lot more broken tackles.

Just some quick observations....

Sooner,
I ran 4 straight plays with 4 Verticals and everytime the safety was right there with the WR and not committing in. I need more people to test this as well just to see this was not a fluke.

That doesn't prove anything. Play a full game like normal, then mix in deep passes. How they react later in the game will be more telling. I'll test later.

I figured it wouldn't, have to leave for a while so had no real time with it yet. I check back later.

Hurry up is definitely back to normal.

Looking forward to reading some more impressions.

CPU zone aggressiveness still in full force on AA. Have already scored 2 TDs in first half on deep passes where the safety chased underneath route. Time to give up on EA fixing it.

Did they tune the QB accuracy slider and pass coverage slider?

Anyone notice a difference in coachmode or when the autopass is turned on? Hoping for low completion percentages.

They could fix it with a tuner update.

Run defense slider seems a lot more responsive now. The QBA slider is still FUBAR. No changes in pass accuracy despite moving the slider around. This patch didn't do much at all, but we already knew it wouldn't.

Edit: I can confirm the Rush Defense slider is much, much better now. It's a lot easier to get a more realistic amount of TFL. Safety Glitch is still here. Haven't tried the no huddle yet...didn't care about that because the workaround was cool for me.

Anyone checked out recruiting with the changes yet?

Looking forward to reading more impressions till us 360 guys get the patch. If you are looking for the safety glitch, please play on AA or Heisman

Are the white uniforms getting dirty yet?

# 20 MilesDavis @ 10/20/12 10:58 PM
Considering I dont ever see the safety glitch I really dont care, but that was never listed as an issue in this patch so Im not sure why people are asking about it...
