Here it is, our first glimpse of NBA Live 13 in action.

UPDATE: EA has taken down the video. Look through the comments section and you might be able to see a few pop up there, until they are removed as well.

Well this leaked footage should make EA act much sooner than expected, whether it is to set the record straight about the build of the footage, or release some gameplay from one of their latest builds. They gotta do something.

Personally, I don't believe this game will be releasing the same time as NBA 2k13, hence the limited information about the game thus far.

This game probably wont reach Facebreakers numbers, and that game sold 52k combined across all platforms it released on. I know sales arent indicative of quality, but if all EA gauges are $ #'s, and Metacritic scores, the outlook could be bleak.

I just saw the full video, and I'm sad. I'm sad that the series I enjoyed for the most part of my child hood, is this bad. I'm not buying that this pre-alpha(we are in August and they only show a pre-alpha?) The quick video I saw, I didn't show me all the stuff you guys were seeing. Sorry I even said I would buy this, I know these guys have to put food on their tables, and I don't want them to lose their jobs, I just feel as if it's EA as whole fault why Live is where it is. I don't think it's the team working on the game now, it was just EA making terrible decisions. If anything it'll be better than elite.

wtf ??? this game looks horrible ... how the hell are yall dfending this ?? is there something wrong with my eyes here ... the only thing good is the commentary and the crowd is loud but everything else is horrible and why do the players shoot like that ??? no signature shot yet ?? its 2012 ... ea fails again smh

The only way I'll buy live 13 is if it's a dollar, and this counts for charity. So I can get some tax deductions.

That was just HORRIBLE, please Lord let that be pre-alpha like they said. Either way though this game is shaping up to be another disaster.

I STILL don't think its as bad as Live 07 though, this game was just a travesty..

I also have to ask, do people even know what pre-alpha is in software development? Name one game, especially sports game that you've ever in your life seen in pre-alpha state that has the full menus up and running, every team available to be played and full 12 minute quarters available to play? Don't worry, I'll wait. Dynasty mode was even available. Are you kidding me?

I don't think that's pre-alpha either. EA thinks we're stupid, maybe because we continue to buy their games. 2k needs to steal that warmup intro.

Because EA has money, and likes to steal from 2k. Lol, they took the NFL license from 2k and the ESPN rights. Man they just buy everything from their competition. A long time ago, 2k had the ESPN rights, but of course EA took that.

You know, I think it looks reasonable. The general animations for basic movement like walking, defensive sliding and running are all pretty horrible, but I think it looks like it may be fun to play.

Probably better than I thought.

You would have to be blind to think that video looked anything but terrible. I would rather play live 10 than that. The players looked all herky-jerky and the whole thing in general just looked like a game from like 5 years ago. I was really hoping this game would make a comeback but if the final product, if we ever get one, looks anything like this i will keep my money. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!
