Ooo okay this is good to hear. So I'll be able to run multiple teams. I may have to get this now. Also, can the salary cap be turned off?

I agree. After playing the demo a few times and simply reading this guide. I KNOW this is Madden/Head Coach 13. Which is needless to say....awesome. I'm sure there will be things we want added for 14...but I think its safe to say that alot of the things we have dreamed of since Head Coach 09 is finally in madden. And the amount of added features from 12-13 is simply staggering.

Very cool that they have the right draft picks for the teams. For example, St. Louis has an extra 1st in 13 and 14 from Washington.

No. Warner may unretire and re-join the NFL in your CCM, though.

So does that mean that STL values their own 2nd round pick at RB lower than they "should"?
Anybody have any thoughts on this kind of thing?

Hmm, I thought they said you lost some XP or packages or something. I must have misread (or, perhaps, remembered older and wrong info). That's good news then...makes for a more viable workaround for one of the issues. Thanks.

Thank goodness! I was scrolling through everyone's post hoping someone else noticed this as well!

The Rams look exciting to rebuild with those extra first round picks they received from Washington.

As I was reading through CCM's draft section this question came to mind. Does anyone know what will happen if you draft a 4-3 pass rushing DE and your team plays a 3-4?

Will the player's ratings decrease?

Yes it will. Only the ratings will see a change. I doubt we see any change in Gameplay until OL/DL interaction is fixed.

well at the last CD Shopmaster said in his CCM Diary that he changed coaches and then went back to his original coach and he still had the exact amount of xp that he left him with. let me find the link.

edit: here is the page where he talked about changing coaches and back http://mymaddenpad.com/2012/06/21/de...s-day-2-diary/. he does mention that some of his tasks were finished for him when he switched back.

This is good to hear. So I now I can play multiple teams in week 1 if I want to.

He will take an OVR hit on your team because his skills for the DE position is not what your team values. (Go read page 25 of the manual).

IRL, this happens but teams switch the pass rushing DE to OLB, like what Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis are doing this season. Unfortunately, we wont be able to do that this year since we cannot edit players' positions.

One of the things I've been clamoring for a few years is a hybrid DE/OLB category for these players so they default into whatever position the scheme calls for. That way, if the Colts switch back to a 4-3, Freeney and Mathis would automatically switch back to DE. Also, the pass rushing DE you draft would switch to OLB if you run a 3-4.

production rating on rookies will enter with a production rating of 0. Josh was saying in a video how it would be based on how they did in college. confused.

Agreed. You shouldn't have to draft OLB to play OLB in the 3-4. In the NFL a lot of projecting goes into the scouting of athletic 4-3 passrushing DE's that teams think can make the transition.

Uh-oh. Doesn't look like there's an option to even create-a-team at all, let alone use it in CCM. That's a bit of a red flag for me.

this is awesome thx!

does sound like the legends have to be controlled as the player in CC not as a CPU controlled player.

when they are being scouted for the draft they will have a production ratings based on their college stats. after being drafted and they enter the league their production ratings will be set to 0 until they begin to produce in the league.

The CC doc is pretty cool. Some pretty lousy grammar though:

Quote:
Matt Hasselbeck is a veteran who is better right now, but
Jake Locker showed is more athletic and showed signs of being ready to
play right now in 2011.
Also, the Titans are not built around CJ and the run as it keeps eluding to. They drafted Wright for a reason - they are building a pass heavy offense. They passed 100+ more times last season under Munchak than 2010 and this all reads like Fisher is still running the team. This is with a first year noodle arm like Matt H and no offseason to properly scheme etc. They will definitely intend to be a pass heavy offense going forward (like any team should really).

Also, the Titans player types breakdown is shockingly off. Big maulers on the OL? hardly - they have a top end pass blocking OL. Run support CBs? er, no. Run stopper at DT? Who? Most on the Titans depth chart are pass rushers, like Klug and Casey. Clearly EA haven't been paying attention to all teams as this is all generalizations from the Titans of old - very old.
