Madden NFL 13 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)

Madden NFL 13 demo is available now for the 360, queue it up right here.

If it's not showing up on your console, try this route.

2: Demo
3: Genre
4: Kinect

The Madden NFL 13 demo will be available for PS3 later this afternoon. We'll update the post when it pops up online.

The Madden NFL 13 demo includes the New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks vs. Washington Redskins.

You can choose difficulty settings. 5 min quarters and it's an entire game. It will also have full commentary. No sliders this year. You can change play style between game flow and conventional.

Why is everyone hating on the default camera angle? Saying it's too far away and the players "look like ants"?

I don't know what you guys are seeing, but the camera is perfectly fine for me. During passes I can see all of my receivers and follow their routes without difficulty.

Anyone else having a problem? When I go to the demo area it doesn't show up at all. When I'm in the home area it shows up as like the first ad. When I click I get this message, "There's a problem with XBOX Live marketplace. Please try again later. Status code: 8C230002"

Ha ha...the coaches should be on the field. I think they could annhilate half the players on the field.

I mean we prepped everyone for the June 4th announcement, it came and went. It was dissected endlessly in the forums up until this point. Now you can get your hands on it today. Get at me. Probably not that early. Watch the playstation blog for the store update post, that will let you know when it's up.

hmm, i don't generally spend much time with madden, although i buy it every year. i was really thinking this year madden might swing me away from NCAA however i'm not really getting a good impression about the game reading through all these pages.

i know that often when the new iteration of the game drops it often takes, at least for me, some time to adjust and really appreciate it.

Haven't been able to play it yet but If its anything like NCAA then it is too far away. Yes you can see all your receievers but its so far zoomed out that you cant get immersed into the play like you could if it was just a little closer.

Just saw a play where the Giants sacked Alex Smith. He glided, very quickly about 9 yards backwards on his back after being sacked!!! WTF?

That camera angle is awful. If it was higher it would be cool but I dont like the field level views.

Madden 12 looked much more like a broadcast from this aspect. Madden 13 they show the same 2 views EVERY play, and they are zoomed out so it looks like NCAA to me. There are no tight zooms to give it that authentic looks, and they don't really cut to multiple players like last year. They actually added post play cut scenes back which totally kills the look, just like NCAA, because they look like they are from hand held cams. It just looks so much more like a video game again than it did last year.
