Wow, that's ridicules. You get a great opportunity to voice your opinion and they just waste it. I wanted to go, but as it's shown this will most likey be a promotional ploy, and I'm not internet famous lol. But I think they are going to send guys that we all trust and hype the game up.The only person I know for a fact, that will give their honest opinion is JerzeyReign
...like said in my post I was outspoken about the sports game I went to see. I'm actually experienced in the sports game I went to see. You haven't given the guys chosen a chance. They are well known in the community and 2k will respect their opinions more than a random poster who's not beneficial to the community in some way.

At the end of the day, we'll see if this is just for promotion. 2k knows who they advertising to, the sim community. The causal gamer doesn't check for previews, insights or watch trailers or gameplay videos over and over again. They just pick the game up or preorder from gamestop blindly. Shady and chris having a combined total of 498,707 subs and they being the first two announced. Hmmmm I wonder why 2k would announce the two most popular 2k youtubers, the best video editor in shady and the best commentator in Chris. I'm just sayin.

CONGRATS. to Shady and Smoove they will represent us well good job to both men

Both Smoove and Shady know alot about the game and will represent the community well. 2K has always listened to the community and to the representatives, like Da Czar, and have used their feedback to make the game better. Why are people starting to doubt them now suddenly?
NBA 2K improves each year even though everything we want isn't in the new versions the games still get better each year.

This how it is in many communities when a trip to see the game is involved. I had people praising me on a forum before EA announced me as a candidate to see a sports game they made. Then, the hating started. I was puzzled because I was beneficial to the game because being outspoken and get the producers attention. It's just fans who care for themselves going to play or see the game first only. These are the same people who be at midnight opening for a new game.

2K must be really confident in their game this year to get multiple "Community" guys free range to talk about the game prior to release. So I take this as they really listened to the community and improved upon most of the issues that the community guys have on their youtube channels or us here on OS's Wishlist thread and whatever other topics here. You don't invite guys to talk about this game if you haven't improved the gameplay issues so I think the game must be improved on the areas where most of the gameplay complaints came from.

hmm this...what can they possibly tweak? welp I guess the plus side will be getting early media from the guys that get it early

oh I would like to throw my hat in for the PC community.

and no worries I won't spam threads about my vids

Thanks for that Jersez but I'm in Germany and won't be back to the States until next year so I want all of my Operation Sports guys to go.

And I just got off of Twitter blasting this message. If I forgot you and you really rep OS, let me know, I have no problem with a Part 2!

#OperationSports #2K Team Up candidates #RyanFitzmagic #jersez #illwill10 #aloncho #Ninjak2 Don't 4get about da #SimNation on #OS

Those guys have been some of the most vocal ones in our Wishlist thread. If you have a Twitter, lets go to work!

Some of this is not hating though. Shady and Smoove -- I really don't mind but some of those other 'youtube legends' are cheesy as **** -- I really don't want some of them dictating whats in the game and whats removed if the program evolves into that. If they look at guys like Shakedown2012 in there, I'm cool.

As long as the Sim Capital (OS) is rep'd -- then I'm good. I think we have several guys here that would do the program justice.

But if youtube is what makes guys "respected" members of the community -- I'm on my way -- let me lace the sneaks up!

Why is it that people can't disagree with something without being called a h a t e r? I didn't bash smoove or shady, my opinion is that we don't know if they are really skilled. Smoove plays a lot of my player and shady does highlights which doesn't prove how skilled someone is. That's why I'm hoping JerzeyReign can give an honest opinion, because he knows what to look for. I honestly truest JerzeyReign skills as sim baller.

I heard in one of smooves videos he said he didn't like the fastbreak dribble animation "because you can bounce it off of peoples feet" that's why I have my doubts of chris smoove along with other online gameplay videos.

Well you also have gamescom. But I really don't think I want to go. I'm just going to work on my tutorials, mixes and editing.

You do have a point this year the Community Team-Up sounds more like advertising but I take it as confidence in the product they are bringing to the table. They are then letting those guys talk about issues fixed and how much the game has improved and we get to hear it from multiple sources before the game comes up I am ok with that. If this transforms into something long term where the community guys can give feedback into the game or be the "ears to the street" of 2K for patches needed or become like a member of a development team brought in to help develop the game then that is where the community guys can be really important.

IMO they need these type of community guys

NBA playbook Guru: You need someone to make sure the plays work as intended assigned to the right players/teams and can be defended appropriately by the right teams. The first person that comes to my mind is the Da Czar.

My Player: This is their most popular I believe. I don't even play it but I see why they chose Smoove because he voiced his opinion on the speed issue and he is a My player mode player.

Online Association/online games: They need somebody who is primarily an online player to express their views on what needs to be done to improve playing online.

Gameplay, details and AI: They need somebody to point out gameplay, player details and tendencies that don't line up with reality. I would say this is too many to name but the wishlist thread says pretty much everything.

that might be true but in my player you will see a lot more problems with the game and players since you only control one guy
