2K Sports Expecting to Make a Big NBA 2K13 Announcement in the Next Couple of Weeks

According to Ronnie2K's Twitter feed, 2K Sports will have a big NBA 2K13 announcement in the next couple of weeks.

I just read ronnie tweet and he says " our most hardcore fan will like it ".

which means it wont be at all appealing to casual fans. What appeals to casual fans??? Gameplay!! Online!!

His tweet gives it away that it will have nothing to do with new gameplay additions, no new mode, no online and something that has to do with presentation or art.

Of course, it's my subjective opinion. What I think is cool may not be what you think is cool. But some exciting stuff is going down this yr

What impresses people is different for everyone. But I think our most hardcore fans will like what we have in store.

atleast ronnie isnt false advertising this time ... like he was last year... but i think its the return of crew...

Do you guys honestly think the cover athlete will appeal most to hardcore fans? It's actually the opposite. Even though 2K may not have a history of great advertising, I think this will be something cool. And casual fans loved crew so I doubt that's the announcement either. Let's try to think outside the box

Yes, they can ether Live by coming with the slogan that "Champions Never Leave" and having all the NBA championship teams in history in the game.

Good call, that sounds very summer-announcement-y. Not too big of a reveal, doesn't really share anything about the game itself, will resonate with some fans of the series.

Probably something most of us really don't care about; announcers, cover athlete, TV deal.

I want to hear what they fixed not how hard the 2K team has been working.

Ban Ronnie from tweeting anything about NBA 2K period because he sucks at putting out good news or stuff out on time.

I'm not really expecting something jaw dropping just nicely cool like TNT or Reggie Miller and Sir Charles being legends somehow.

Only thing that'll shock me is if they have real-time collision physics.

Maybe they finally fixed the shoes in this game so there aren't abominations like the Jordan XI's and Adizero Rose 2.5's that you can't make look like the actual colorways.

It does get a bit frustrating when the loudest voices in the community are always going on and on about accessories...it gives 2k the vibe that that's what the majority of the fanbase cares about.
