I bet they will use Kinect to scan our own faces to import into the game, and then create our own players. I bet that is what they meant by Game Face and by Kinect support.

i loved what i say from the DB's in this madden vid, but i am brought back to reality by the fact THE GAME WAS ON PRO AND IN PRACTICE MODE...

ea has the opportunity to really make franchise play matter if they tie read and react, the icons fading and popping up to a specific rating like awareness or some kind of player vision.

it immediately makes the draft and FA relevant again.

i just dont think they have that type of vision.

Where did they say it was on Pro? Or can you "just tell"?

Game Face allows you to put your face onto your created player in the game via uploading a photo. It has been in FIFA for a while now (unless they took it out recently).

You upload a photo and it creates the face for you. Its been in EA MMA and Fight Night Champion.

It worked great in EA MMA but sucked in FNC. FNC had problems making black faces.

I don't know, it may be in and they just didn't announce it, I'm really not sure in all honesty. I would hold off on giving a final judgement based off of the entire package of additions across the entire game before getting down about it. When you tally up the amount of stuff they accomplished this year after the final reveal, you will be impressed at the overall effort.
You realize I was talking about the ability to save screens not a half time show right? The same ability that's been in NCAA for years. NCAA is getting a lot of improvements etc. Trust me due to my job I understand dev time, priorities etc.

Those reasons don't add up here IMO.

Thats from EA MMA, You take a picture of your face (or 2, 1 straight on, 1 profile) then map the digital points of your digital face (ie, nose, chin) to your pictures. The game renders the pictures into 3d model characters that are suprisingly accurate.

I did this with a few friends from work so that we could settle our "beefs" digitally! I really dont know why EA hasnt marketed this tech more, it really is fun to use and WORKS AS ADVERTISED.
Am I going to need to buy a vision cam? Or can I just take a regular camera picture?

Close, but NO CIGAR on the Seahawk unis in the Presentation blog.

2 things:

1. The numbers are the wrong color and font. They are supposed to be grey, and the font is speciallized:

2. The numbers are missing the feather print. Idk if it's possible to render that in Madden, but it is missing.

EDIT: I know it might be due to lighting, but the Action Green shades on both the unis and the gloves don't match up. The sleeve stripe is paler than the gloves are...

What you saw is not final.

I thought I saw it watching it live, but looks like it pretty much confirmed some new sort of tackling system on the kickoff return they showed.

That definitely wasn't in Madden 12 my friend. That type of interaction, I've never seen in the game.

Looks like the numbers issue you have has been fixed:

Good call on the fixing of the Seahawks unis?

You know, homer-ness aside... of all the jerseys I've seen displayed in Madden 13 so far, it seems the Seahawks are the best. It's like they were designed just for Madden, lol...
