Okay guys...

Here is the Spring Training version of the Operation Sports Full Minors for 2012, for MLB 12 The Show.

This initial set looks really tight... and there is some FANTASTIC work done on these. Dare I say... the best set yet.

There are too many to thank for this... and I will come back and fill out this post with all those involved, as I know you guys want to get your hands on these and start your franchises.

Here is the link for the OSFM ST v.1They will be up in the Vault momentarily...
  • File name: O.S.F.M. SPRING
Thanks for all your patience... and most of all enjoy!!!

I just want to thank some people... and I have to say... this community is truly exceptional. Operation Sports is simply the best run website I visit. Bar none... and the members that frequent here are one of the main reasons. Good people attract other good people.

In no particular order... I really need to thank all of the people involved in the making of this set... as this is a true community effort and without all of these guys, it would make the process much harder and much, much longer.

Thanks to:

I'd like to thank ksig24 for his insight and input into the potential base for the set...

... and last but CERTAINLY not least...
RidinDwnKingsley...

Without his TREMENDOUS work and the immense amount of time that he puts into these rosters... they would have taken 3 times as long to do.

I CANNOT say enough about this, as his dedication and sheer bulldog mentality to get it done, means so much to these.

Also to Steve... the owner of O.S. and the mods on here who make it easy to keep the threads in order and viable to use in conjunction with the set.

...and of course thanks to the entire O.S. community for all the input that you guys have been putting into these for YEARS!

THANK YOU!

Guys.....a lot of people have requested to give back in response to these rosters. They offer thanks and several have offered money.
I suggest charities if you really want to do something as a thanks to these.

My suggested charities....The N.Y.C. FireFighters Burn Center....Wounded Warriors....or .....http://www.extra-life.org/

Thank you!

Knight, when I saved to usb the first time all I savd was the PS3 file I did save the SAVEDATA folder. If you could give me the steps as I stated in last post I would appreciate it that way I know exactly what to do. I am thinking I missed some steps. What I did was download your file unzip it and then transfer the PS3 folder to my usb. Please help me out with your infinte wisdom with the steps to getting it saved correctly on my usb.

If you click on the PS3 folder...it should open up and show you a SAVEDATA folder....if you click on that you should see the BCUS folder.
(on your PC)

When you are on your PS3....you have to go to the SAVED DATA UTILITY section(it's 3 or 4 up from your game icon)...hit X and then hit triangle to copy.

Unless I make a change to a guy I probably won't be adding to the player vault.

There will probably be extras (Pirates not included in the OSFM roster set) put in the vault sometime this week also.
Oh I know what you mean, I'll probably use the OSFM rosters on a fantasy draft franchise for fun. For this I just want to solely work on the Pirates period. I like the idea of the exporting of the players. I'll try that, thanks!

Guys....just a little update.

The Opening Day set will be out on Wednesday sometime.
Ridin' will be releasing it...as he's going to finish up whatever he can before then on the minor league rosters(guys in the correct level) and lineups/rotations.
The minor league setup will be as close as possible with the players that are in the set.(we don't want to remove prospects to get the levels exactly correct...which is really impossible anyway with the 25 man limit)

In the Opening Day set...
-All MLB rosters are as of Opening Day
-All MLB lineups/rotations are as of Opening Day
-40 man rosters are set.
-Most of the corrections from the thread are in that we could get to
-Transactions as of 4/10
-New contracts for
--Alex Rodriguez
--Derek Jeter
--Barry Zito
--Jason Bay
--Johan Santana
--Jake Peavy
--Alex Rios
--Adam Dunn
--Derek Lowe
--Travis Hafner
--Dustin McGowan and a few others
-There were some players added to some teams
-Bryce Harper's age was fixed and some attribute fixes as well
-Matt Harvey pitch selection fixed
-Zach Wheeler pitch selection fixed
-Yu Darvish pitch selection and weight fixed
-Logan Morrison # changed
-Brewer prospects adjusted
-Aoki from A to C with MLB level attributes and stance changed
-Josh Bell # change
-Geoff Blum # change
-Shelby Miller # change and pitch selection fixed
-Matt Harrison stance changed
-Cleveland catcher block ratings fixed
-Trevor Bauer pitch selection fixed
-Bradley pitch selection fixed
-Renato age fixed
-Scott Barnes age fixed
-Anthony Gose attributes adjusted
-Matt Szczurs attributes adjusted
-Denys Reyes released and replaced
-Terdoslovich positions adjusted
-Manny Banuelos pitches selection fixed
-Danny Espinosa # fixed

There are other minor fixes as well.

Unfortunately....with me leaving for Texas for two or three weeks....(even though I'll have my Vita and laptop!).....we were just running out of time.
Ridin' is working hard to get as many minor league teams done before the release on Wednesday.
I will try and do a 25 man roster off of that A.S.A.P. ...but I don't know the situation out there...so it's up in the air.

Thanks for the patience once again everyone!

It's not a shock, though, considering the Vita is a handheld. I'm just stoked that we can use the roster on Vita. I can live with the bee-stung faces.

will the opening set have all the corrections from the spring version listed in that thread?

Knight and/or Ridin:

Can you replace the 3 mariners included in the SCEA roster update with the ones that were submitted by R&S? The SCEA ones look nothing like the players do in real life, if you need to redownload them, I still have them in the vault (PSN: seanjeezy)

I uploaded a C potential Kawasaki as well that was based off of the SCEA one, but Luetge and Erasmo need to have their ratings changed to SCEA's.

Also, were you guys able to include the faces I gave you that didn't make it into v1? I think it was Maurer, Catricala, Proscia, Cohoes, Pimentel, Castillo, Austin, and Chavez.

Thank you guys so much for all of your hard work!

Kinsler just signed a 5 year 75 million dollar deal. Any way that gets in?

I hear Carlos Santana signed an extension as well.

Kinsler: five-year deal worth around $75 million

Santana: Exact terms aren't known, but the deal is expected to cover his arbitration seasons and perhaps his first year of free agency. The 26-year-old is currently under team control through 2016. An official announcement is expected on Tuesday.

A lot.
Some of the larger equipment/stance updates didn't get done. Maybe a couple of the player swaps. Time is really tight.

Could you PM Ridin'?
He's got the set right now and trying to do whatever finishing touches he can before tomorrow.

Good move by indians to lock up santana for $21M over the 5 yrs (plus there's a 6th-yr option (per Jon Heyman on Twitter)

With the contracts....we might only be able to get 14 million dollar deals....the FA3 trick is tough to get above that per year.
