Other than the aquaruim that stadium is ugly!!! Its like a new tropicana, the homerun thing is horrendous and that little centerfield triangle is screaming GIMMICK! Hopefully this isn't the final product.

I was referring to those critiquing, and having a "sky is falling" demeanor.
Big difference. Especially when I know these are "dev tool" moments to capture highlights for the trailers.
Like I said, I personally did not see those shots while there. In fact, we all commented on how it seemed to have "lack of power" when late on those pithes.

And no one ever said the sky is falling, they just report what they see.

Anyway, I'll stop talking.

LOL, I've just decided to take the wait and see approach... meaning, I'll just suggest that people wait and see for answers to their questions.

I don't know how some people enjoy video games. Yes, I do want realism for sure, but what I'm looking for is numbers. If someone like Reyes winds up with somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-20 HRs at the end of the season, I'm not going to lose sleep over the fact 2 or 3 of them may have been unlikely to happen IRL. Now if he hits 30-35, then those "unlikely to happen" would bother me. Now I didn't say I liked them, it just doesn't bother me to the point it apparently does others.

Did you even read my entire post, or just the parts that suited how you wanted to reply? I don't think we've met, although you apparently know about me to categorize me as a casual gamer. If you frequented the roster section for the '10 Edition (were you even around then?) you would have noticed that many people found enjoyment out of my '86 roster set I did. How many "casual gamers" do you know that have spent the many hours required to do such a thing (you know, other than me of course). So like I said (here comes the part you didn't read), I do want the game to play realistic, which it always has moreso than any other offering lately, but I refuse to get hung up on something that happens infrequently to the point where I don't enjoy the game.

I didn't know if you were referring to me by the way, but I have been called out for being a little too harsh to seemingly enjoy gaming. Just like you, people here don't know me; those who do (and I've met a share of OSers before) can vouch for my... how do you say... "normalness" in person?
Besides, I have yet to complain about the Reyes thing, if you look over my posts carefully. I've mentioned what probably shouldn't happen, but I wasn't the person who brought it up. All I didn't like was that the "old build" comment sometimes doesn't come into fruition even though they say that. However, at the same time, I'm really hoping that this is just a matter of being an "old build" and that they're right. Obviously, nothing would make me happier. And of course, even if it didn't, I would still love this game till the end.
EDIT: Wow, that first bit rhymed.

Comparing someone making a final judgment on a game and pointing out something that looks troubling in a clip released by the developer seems a bit harsh.
And if the developers did indeed stage that event for the clip, it seems like an odd choice.

It wasn't directed at anyone in particular. I know you make far too many positive comments to not enjoy the game!

Did Reyes just get jammed on an inside fastball and hit an opposite field homerun?
I thought the new ball physics was supposed to fix that.
And for anyone questioning whether it was a HR...look at the left fielder drop step and run deep towards the pole.
1. If it wasn't a HR, why did they show it right before the HR feature?
2. If it wasn't a HR, why is it so close to a HR? That ball should not be hit that deep to the opposite field regardless of whether it cleared the wall or not.

You guys should really start reading posts. It's like a broken record in here and it's annoying.

While I wouldn't blame people to not thoroughly read all the posts, when you post something, I feel you should at least do *some* homework before you actually do so...
otherwise, you don't need to post yourself, since the chances are that your point has been discussed already by others, you are not putting a tiny extra effort (search? or ...read at least a few posts?) to join the ongoing discussion.
All right, my bad. I tried making a moderation comment and I think I started something. Not my intention.
Let's go back on topic, please.
