Well so much for finding a work around for the tag titles. Unlike every other minor belt, those can only be assigned to someone from Raw or Smackdown. And since they can't be vacated...well, you get the picture.
I think I'm just going to go ahead and manually move them to the unified champs whenever those titles change hands.

hello there. I'm just curious about gameplay and exhibition matches. Is the gameplay fluid? Going by the videos, they seem a little stiff. I just bought Fight Night Champion for $30 but haven't opened it up yet and I may take it back to get this just so I can get the Rock.
And my second question is, during regular matches, can you have title matches? Back in the day on Here comes the Pain, me and my guys would have our own wrestlemanias because we could defend the belts in regular matches, even vs the CPU.
My favorite wrestling games were Here comes the Pain, Know Your Role, and SVR 2006 (the best lineup of wrestlers in my opinion), WCW Mayhem to which I never read anyone bring that one up. True classic espcially during that time when the WWF/E was dominating. Thanks for reading.

Yes, you can defend championships in exhibition mode whenever you want, either against another player or the CPU.
As far as whether its fluid, I guess that's in the eye of the beholder. Personally I don't have any problems with how the guys move. If anything, I think it looks more realistic for the most part. I've seen some oddities, for sure, where animations look as though they're sped up or something, but that's rare.
I just had a great match between Sin Cara and Justin Gabriel. I'm really having fun with the gameplay, which is all that matters to me.

Someone was asking about entrances during the Royal Rumble. There are no Titan Tron videos, but guys no longer sprint down to the ring when they are announced. Some do, but many take their sweet time getting into the match.
Also, I haven't seen any teamwork between friends or partners in the Rumble. It's been every man for himself.

Speaking of the RR, how tough is it this year?
Last year it was really easy and I was able to clear the ring too fast.
The year before on the harder levels the AI would eliminate me with ease because the AI seem to have a "button mash" advantage on me.
Basically what does it take to eliminate someone this year?
Also In ladder matches are guys slow climbing up the ladder later in the match?

dont know if you've had a match with Cena yet, but did they put the dueling chants in his matches?

I've only played a couple ladder matches, so I can't really say much abouth those, other than I liked it better than any I've ever played in Smackdown. The ladder doesn't fall over every time a move is done or someone touches it. I haven't seen anyone race up the ladder like they used to in older SvR games. Again, it seems more realistic to me in the matches I've had.

jrider,
have you noticed if the CPU ever does wear-down grapples or rest holds?
For example, when you are on the ground, do the CPU superstars use reverse chinlocks or any other ground moves or do they just pick you up every time you are down?
This has been a problem for years in SVR.
I hated having a nice PPV main event like HBK vs Edge, and never seeing the CPU try to do rest holds/ground grapples.
In a long match it adds to the realism and strategy.
Thanks.
The fact that the cpu would try to wear you down was one of the reasons I loved Day Of Reckoning on the Gamecube.
