NBA 2K12 News Post

NBA's Greatest mode is one of the most popular features in NBA 2K12. NBA fans enjoy the ability to play with legends like Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Isaiah Thomas. But why stop at the 34 teams available in 2K12? There is no reason why these ten teams should not be in the next installment of the 2K basketball series.

93-94 Bulls(Let PIP shine on his own)
93-94 Knicks(take 95' out)
92-93 SuperSonics( vs 92-93 Suns)
93-94 SuperSonics(Kendall Gill was my guy lol. Favorite Supes team & jersey's)
87-88 Mavs
97-98 or 95 Pacers
01 Sixers
01 Bucks
00 Raptors(V.C & T.Mac)
83 Sixers (take 85' out)
80 Lakers(take 91' out)
84 Celtics
94 Warriors
95 Rockets
00 Lakers
Bonus: 92 Clippers & 00 Hornets(loved this team in CHA. Nothing against N.O)

I could go on & on. A lot of teams I liked didn't win 'chips.
It would be nice if each franchise had a couple classic teams, but
with licensing issues one can only dream.

This would be a great match up with the 79' Sonics. finals rematch here.

Damn, I wish I was alive for this lol.

Would love more classic Sonics teams! '79, '87, and '93 were great years.

Another team that needs to be included next year is the 1999-2000 Portland Trailblazers. They went 59-23, and lost in the Western Conference Finals to The Lakers. This roster is sick!

STARTERS:
PG - Damon Stoudamire
SG - Steve Smith
SF - Scottie Pippen
PF - Rasheed Wallace
C - Arvydas Sabonis

BENCH:
-Detlef Schrempf
-Bonzi Wells
-Brian Grant
-Greg Anthony
-Jermaine O'Neal
-Stacey Augmon
-Gary Grant

I'll take them all. Most of them already have their opposing team available. And the ones that don't, I could get by with or without them (I'd prefer with naturally).

It's only a matter of time before we get the 01' sixers as DLC. They have been asked for by everyone!

This. Until that Suns team is added no one else matters.

Lol 01 Sixers. Is there anyone left who realizes the leagues started before 2000?

# 32 rhein77 @ 10/28/11 12:24 AM
the 99 - 2000 Blazers have got to be on the list! That team was just beastly. The gave it away to the Lakers in the conference finals. that team had everything.

Clearly the '01 Lakers lol, you keep mentioning them in the article as the foe that took down a few teams, without including them? This is one of the few teams I feel could match up with the '96 Bulls, and they did something even those Bulls didn't, roll through the playoffs with only 1 loss

Since there was already a Kobe/Shaq Lakers team in the game, I left the early 2000's Lakers out, but they probably deserved to be included.

You've gotta include the 1982-83 76ers as one of the best teams ever, and I'm a Celtics fan. Andrew Toney needs to be in NBA2K....just filthy...
