Power moves are still overpowered while finesse moves are still underpowered. I played a half to test last night and all three sacks I saw came from DTs. Hopefully they can address this with a tuner, because it's my biggest complaint with the game right now.

I saw a sack from an OLB, but it was on a heavy blitz. I do agree that power moves still > finesse
PS3 graphics on the field look fixed which is good. I was so excited not to hear that loud popping noise through the first half of the game I was playing. I was thinking, great they fixed this annoying speaker damaging pop......start of the 3rd quarter, POP......... LOL! You would think they would have fixed this in this patch.
I was a bit lazy in jotting down the probs with this game and getting them onto EA's website so EA could have worked on some of the issues that are not in this game such as the accelerated game clock NOT being turned off when you DO have it turned off in your options, among other clock issues like when injuries happen and the game clock keeps running so when your rocked to sleep subconsciously thinking you have a full game clock and next thing you know, you're whistled for delay of game. These issues may have started either last year or in 10 but whatever the case, they need to be fixed.
Also, they need to work on the play call screen blocking auto replays, too. Been there for the past year or 2. Sup with that??
At any rate, I guess the field textures look a little richer and sharper but I dunno. Could be a placebo effect cuz I didn't really notice them being bad unless that "whitish, patch effect" at the "Metlife" Stadium during my Jets home games were really an issue. I don't really see that now.
All in all, I think the game is pretty decent. I still wanna make my list of fixes and get it over to them but I can't help but feel bored with the Madden series. I am definitely ready for a new and vastly improved Madden on next gen systems.
Nothing new to report, but I played the Chiefs at home with my Bills and there was no rain. Before the patch, it always rained. My next item to look for in this patch is better looking fields at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The parts of the field that are shaded had the black splotches...hopefully, that is cleaned up in this patch.
The dome fields and the field at Gillette field look great now. I need to play a bit more to see if I notice anymore changes. Considering the fact that I am not a franchise guy the field fix was my top priority, so I'm good.
If the speaker "pop" is still there than this pathetic excuse for a football title is still a no buy and no rent for me. It's been two months and they just fixed the fields for PS3? What a joke. Should never have been like that in the first place. You people that continue to purchase this game and do somersaults on "patch day" are exactly the reason why EA gets away with what they do.
Why would anybody risk having their TV speakers or sound system damaged for a broken $60 video game???? Madden is EA's flagship game. And this is how they present and deliver it?
Like moths to the flame and you guys fall for it EVERY year. If you want EA to get it right, than DONT BUY THE GAME on release day. Rent it. It will be amazing to watch how quickly EA gets their **** together.
This is unfixable.
This is from the source master of the audio. When this w3as mastered...it must have been mastered too hot and had some area's of audio waves that will clip at certain spots.
What is amazing is they had this same issue in Madden 11 and ignored it.
No excuse IMO for this to happen with a multi billion dollar company like EA.

Poor quality control in the audio department.
Simple as that.
not just the audio dept. this company is concerned with selling quantity than they are at selling quality. it is unacceptable to release a "premier" game year after year with this many flaws. you know they saw these things prior to releasing it. if this company allows us to see these issues as clear as day, then just think about what they don't want us to see.
Feels pretty much the same to me, with the big difference being that the field looks great now! The audio pop happened within 3 minutes of playing my first post-patch game The PA and commentary had very little if any changes. Still a delayed sound when the ball is kicked off, still announcing 'the starting quaterback' still not syncing up commentary with the action. Like when I score a touchdown and I hear 'and the attempted pick comes empty etc.' Hopefully it won't crash, but sounds like some people are already having that happen again.
You know what? At the end of the day, this is just a video game...............

weird...I played a ton of M'11 (PS3)...NEVER heard a pop....i played abuut 5 games of M'12..heard a pop every game.....I don't play with the audio anymore.
