The NBA 2K12 patch is available now for 360 owners and in the coming days for the PS3. If you are following along with Ronnie2K on Twitter, you will see some of the details, as listed below.

Make sure you leave details on your online experience, after the patch.

I posted earlier in this thread but that was hours after the patch was released. I figured if I give it some time, things might improve. After playing for about an hour or 2 tonight, I have noticed that post patch quick match connections are still much slower. When I do get a game it seems to be fairly lag free however. It just takes at least 10 times longer to find an opponent than it did pre patch.

Just started trying the quick team up games. Pre patch, I never could get a game going. Post patch I can get a game going fairly quickly (faster than quick match actually), but have only ever finished 1 game due to drops and "network conditions too poor". The gameplay in team up is still very laggy with the "waiting for opponent" popping up every 30 seconds. That's all I have noticed so far post patch.

By stutter, I mean frame rate issues on xbox 360, not sure about ps3. I'm experiencing it in my player mode mostly, haven't tried Association but some of my friends told me it's happening in association as well. As for online, not much frame rate issues but theres that little input lag. this patch has fixed most of that though.
Again with the stutters, it's really unenjoyable and it's irriating and annoying. It also happened a little bit in my quick games but way more on my player.

before patch I saw frame rate lags in my player so I stopped my player for a while. tried it again today after patch and it seemed to get worse. Seemed to stutter for most of the game.

I might also make a new MP and play offline without the patch, since before the patch it only happened against certain teams and didn't last as long as post-patch.
It's a bummer because I was 57 games in.... now have to start all over again

so im getting some lag to..heres the thing, i havent downloaded the patch yet. Yet yesterday my game was smooth and today its a bit glitchy? Maybe it was a freak incident....

patch is an IMPROVEMENT...but the 3's are still too high ONLINE!

also guys still making WELL CONTESTED SHOT, I just lost a game on a LAST SECOND SHOT in which the guy made a shot with Durant to win the game DESPITE THE FACT THAT A TALL DEFENDER CAME OVER and CONTESTED THE SHOT...then when I looked at the REPLAY IN SLOW MOTION...THE DAMN BALL morphed through my defender hand so it was as if MY GUY WASN'T IN HIS FACE...basically INVISIBLE!

People should not be WINNING GAMES THIS WAY IMO, people are NOT EARNING WINS ONLINE they are just taking advantage of GLITCHES ONLINE

but I do see a BIG IMPROVEMENT and the game is at least more playable online but still have some things to clean up

it seems like this patch that was supposed to fix online messed up offline every game i play now im seeing stuttering in the gameplay my guess is its framerate related i seen this a couple times pre-patch but it was few and far between now im seeing it every game also it seems like the weight detection that was there before the patch is now GONE completely is anybody else having these issues???

Online Association isn't working on ps3. Does Ronnie or anyone else know if this due to the patch?

It has been down for over 3 hours.

You're the only other person I've seen say anything about this, besides myself. Players seem to have less weight and it leads to bigs closing large amounts of distance to contest perimeter shots, and some weird things going down in the paint. Just and overall "on skates" type feeling to the gameplay.

It's absolutely patch related because I've played a few games offline after deleting all 2K12 related content from my HDD and then clearing the cache to delete the patch and the game plays the way it did before.

This isn't in my head, placebo, or anything like that. My Player absolutely plays better without the patch, no doubt about it.

I played 3 teamup games this morning and it was the best I've seen that mode run.

Few issues though:

Was having trouble inbounding the ball on some possessions as it wouldn't let me pass even though I hot the button, even with icon passing.

We had 3v3 running but all 3 of opposing team quit. The CPU then did nothing the rest of the game except pass the ball in. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun messing around, but it got annoying after awhile as Kobe racked up 18 turnovers with 8 second violations.

I still feel mislead by 2k and am disappointed with the removal of functioning leagues, my player pickup, and crew. I've loved this series for years, but they need to fix these online issues. It's not 1999 anymore. There is no excuse.

I'm experiencing the same issues since the patch. Having Serious framerate drops when playing in offline games (using Nosebleed camera). Will happen multiple times each game and will generally persist until one team calls a timeout.

Dont appease one side of the game, work on it as a whole... this is awful

I was taking the ball out, the screen wipe came up after i passed the ball in, then the entire take the ball out pass and screen wipe sequence repeated itself

Im like what the heck

My impression is this: why are the servers down right now, and every day since I bought the game?

All my games online disconnect from the countdown screen. Then it's "evaluating your internet connection" - then server not available.

So I pop in Ghost Recon and play that game online instead. This sucks.

I cant stand online either...glad i didnt have the xbox hooked up online

I downloaded the patch for the 360 and all of my games have frame drops throughout it. It's not for a couple of seconds like it was before the patch, now it's mostly the entire game. I thought it was just me, or my camera angle (High Cam), but it's something that needs to be addressed.

ps. It's happening in Practice scrimmages, offline association and regular games.

I thought it was just me. I had tons of frame rate issues last night from my OFFLINE association last night. Then I read this thread. SMH. I agree these companies focus so much damn attention to online when the minority use it. Now we gotta deal with this junk just so their broken mess is fixed?

I really wish they had a "roll back to previous version" option for patches like this.
