NBA 2K12 "My2K" Account Verification Issues? 2K Sports is Here to Help

Hi guys,

I'm the Social Media Coordinator for 2kSports and I know we have been having issues with the "My2K" account verification.

The issues to my knowledge are the following:

Registered users receive an e-mail and the verification code clicks in as "INVALID"
Registered users are not receiving ANY e-mails for verifications
From the "update My2K" menu via console, the "Reset Password" feature isn't sending an e-mail

Please leave your registered "My2k" username in this thread and I will manually re-send an e-mail attempt while our team works on the issues at hand.

Thanks for all your patience, I can promise the team is working on hammering out all the issues. For now, I'm here to help with e-mail verifications.

UPDATE:

Great news for you users who need verification for your �My2K� accounts! Now you can verify manually by the following steps:

1. If you go to: https://www.nba2k.com/social/link
2. Enter your �My2K� account name AND password
3. When you log in, successfully, this is an automatic verification of your account via the log in!

Again it�s for people who haven�t received an email, had an INVALID link in their email, or are wanting/needing to verify their "My2K" account.

Additionally, ALL email links will work now, even if they are expired. You just may require a log-in before validating the account.

Hope this will be of MAJOR help to all of you who were having verification issues!

picked this up in the NBA/MLB 2k12 combo and I cannot verify my 2kaccount. I logged into NBA2k.com just fine and can see all my stats, no emails received but every time I go check on my online association via console I am told that I did not verify my email.

my nba 2k12 account stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill has not been verified since i have bought the game THE DAY OF IT COMING OUT!! i would love for this to be finally takin care of so i dont have to redue my bday and password stuff anymore. its annoying.

So this is still broken? I got my email, pretty sure it worked to verify me... and i still have to enter birthday, accept terms. I then log into an existing account and it has me select an avatar.

Every. Single. Time.

I just picked up the game last week on Steam.

2K hasn't even posted a memo if they are looking into the problem at all.
This started after the patch came out for me. I could load the game no problem prior to the patch. Now they have to patch the patch.

Hi,

I forgot my nba2K account's password but I can't retrieve it. I Don't recieve the email with the new password in it.

Have to create new account every time I boot up the game on PC. Every day I get a new username generated. Currently it is blast34970 and have not received any emails to verify. I have tried to "reset password" and tried updating email address and still no email to verify.
