NBA 2K12 "My2K" Account Verification Issues? 2K Sports is Here to Help

Hi guys,

I'm the Social Media Coordinator for 2kSports and I know we have been having issues with the "My2K" account verification.

The issues to my knowledge are the following:

Registered users receive an e-mail and the verification code clicks in as "INVALID"
Registered users are not receiving ANY e-mails for verifications
From the "update My2K" menu via console, the "Reset Password" feature isn't sending an e-mail

Please leave your registered "My2k" username in this thread and I will manually re-send an e-mail attempt while our team works on the issues at hand.

Thanks for all your patience, I can promise the team is working on hammering out all the issues. For now, I'm here to help with e-mail verifications.

UPDATE:

Great news for you users who need verification for your �My2K� accounts! Now you can verify manually by the following steps:

1. If you go to: https://www.nba2k.com/social/link
2. Enter your �My2K� account name AND password
3. When you log in, successfully, this is an automatic verification of your account via the log in!

Again it�s for people who haven�t received an email, had an INVALID link in their email, or are wanting/needing to verify their "My2K" account.

Additionally, ALL email links will work now, even if they are expired. You just may require a log-in before validating the account.

Hope this will be of MAJOR help to all of you who were having verification issues!

Every time I turn on the game it instantly logs me out of Xbox live. This has been going on for about 2 weeks everytime I turn on the game. I have no idea what my 2k username is and theres no way to reset it on the site. Please help

Mr. 2K,

For birthday I accidentally put the real date in. And it says you have to be 13 to have a 2k account. How do I reset that?

I've had to register 3 separate times within the last few days...

The 1st email was addressed to: OzoneStrtDancer
The 2nd email was addressed to: OzoneStrtDan974
The 3rd email was addressed to: OzoneStreet

Every time I attempted to register my original information, it would not let me & forced me to use an alternative. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My younger brother got the game, confirmed his account through email and the website as described in the first step and it still won't let him play me online. Not an internet connection issue, when he goes to "go online" it says something like account not confirmed yet.

Any help on what to do?

I lost my password and as I've read there's a problem with the Password Reset button. I even went to 2K's Support page and requested a ticket... that was like 4-5 days ago now... Anyways, thank you for helping us dedicated 2k Basketball gamers out.

I am responding to your thread now - I figured out a way that MAY be helpful to you as a work around to get your videos since the YouTube link function isn't working for some of you.

NBA 2K12- PS3

I forgot my password and when i go to Update My2K Account on my counsel and click reset password i never recieve the email. I have not changed this email its the same email from when i first created the account. Ive already called and talked to two different representatives and i have not recieved the emails from them so i can reset my password.
