Why am I not surprised... The tuner they pushed out to fix coaching progression (which should have been in the patch) did not work either. Started my dynasty with only 4 "A" coaches, and about 10-15 "B +" coaches. Year 2 on my dynasty and there are 37 A+ coaches now.
just found the same thing... i'm actually really happy i came across this post because i was a couple hours into totally re-rating all the coaches and coordinators and getting really into it... i think i'm about ready to shelve this game... such a shame for this series to fall apart like this... I have bought every game since NCAA '99 within the first two weeks (except the year I got married, when my wife bought it for me a month later)
Man, I'm really loving the new animations out of running backs post-patch. I played a game vs. Ohio state, and their HB did a wicked stop-start juke at the LOS that left one of my backers grasping at air. I didn't see much of that pre-patch.
So the wildcat formation was comepletely removed and now hurry up/no huddle is broke?! Seriously? Can someone give me some info on this? The search tool was very vague. Thanks.
what's this about the wildcat?
fresno st. ran it on me several times in my single person OD last night.
Solid overall. The one glaring issue gameplay wise to me is the CPU is completely inept at running screens.
I played Auburn vs Georgia on Jistic's AA sliders and Georgia tried 8 screen passes...that ended in 8 sacks of Aaron Murray.
this was always a problem. CPU can´t do the HB screen right. Yeah it get some good screens, they even scored on me a couple of time, but overall i sack them almost every time. Stupid.

I have found that this year the CPU takes an un natural amount of sacks.... Probably due to the fact that in the past Robot Qb's did not take ANY sacks..... I agree it is time to get some balance EA. SEC ELite's slides will definately help. BUT. as this guy stated it is still way STUPID how many sacks the CPU takes.

From what I've read, this is a custom PB problem. Wildcat formations aren't able to be added to CPBs any more. I'd guess they're still in default pbs. I don't have the patch so I'm going 100% on hearsay.
I am doing a RTG and I went in to add sleeves and a handwarmer to my gear (as it's getting to the colder part of the year) and when I finish, I notice that my tendency changed from Scrambler to Pocket Passer. I thought the tendency bug was fixed? It won't effect me in NCAA, I'm more worried about when I export to Madden that it might mess up my running-related ratings there.

Its NOT BROKEN despite what other posters here say. Its just now to have wildcat plays you have to have them already in the default playbook you use as a base. That's all. Everyone is having a hissy fit about it because of that.

Yeah freaked me out at first as I was trying to ensure that the wildcat formations were in my CPB. Unable to find them ANYWHERE I was thinking WTF has happened!?!?
I was under the impression that the tendency bug with new recruits was fixed but I'm still seeing it. I started a dynasty fresh after patch 2 dropped (playing as Stanford), and I went through the procedure that's been posted throughout this thread (d/l roster, rename, delete patch, restart) and double checked to make sure tendencies were correct (D. Robinson/Scrambler, T. Martinez/Scrambler, etc) and they indeed were so I proceeded through year 1. I like to run a pro style offense so I like my QB to be Pocket Passer or Balanced, there were no Pocket Passer QBs interested so I recruited a QB that was Balanced. In year 2 I started having trouble at QB b/c my new starter got hurt (Andrew Luck went pro after year 1) and my backup had poor strength and fumbled a ton so I went to look at possibly starting my true freshman and I noticed his tendency was Scrambler. I was 99% sure I recruited a balanced QB b/c I intentionally avoided scrambler QBs (there were several interested). But I wanted to be sure so I started a test dynasty to sim through, I again double checked rosters to make sure they were correct and make sure the patch was effective on my system and it seemed to be. I started my test dynasty as OC of Ohio Bobcats, simmed through year one and scored two Balanced QBs, I went through the offseason and in the cut players screen they were both listed as Balanced, after I proceeded to pre-season menu and went in to redshirt players they were listed as scrambler QBs. I know that they are on my team so I can play with them however I want, but it still sucks b/c after a few years go by these QBs are going to be starters on CPU teams and they are going to have guys with 70 spd/acc taking off running 15-20 times a game and guys with 85 spd/acc sitting in the pocket longer and only running 8-10 times a game. Can someone else test this and see if they get the same results?? Did the patch not address the tendency bug with new recruits?
