Except Kellen Moore has played like Joe Montana against SEC, ACC and Pac 12 talent in hostile stadiums and under a prime time national spotlight. Next.
This has nothing to do with NCAA 12, the patch, or your impressions of the patch.
I haven't had a freeze since last night and I played 6 games tonight in my Baylor dynasty. I'm hoping it was just a fluke to have it freeze on me last night, or that it is a problem only in play now games. One thing I have noticed since the patch is that Texas A&M's QB, a scrambler, for some reason was really into running and not being patient in the pocket. This led to some big gains by him, but also led to my defense getting 7-8 sacks. He's the only QB I've seen be that impatient and I've played other scramblers too. I'd like to figure out what made him like that(what specific ratings) compared to the other QBs.
I've also noticed that CPU screens are either sacks or huge gains now. There is the occasional incomplete screen, but the majority are sacks, a few are huge gains, and the remaining 1% are incomplete/short gains. I don't understand why the CPU can't run screens correctly.

Just to clarify, the no huddle glitch is if you're running the shotgun and then switch to a different formation, yes?
As last night I ran the no huddle but as long as I picked a play from the previous formation, it was fine. Just wanted to make sure I can avoid it in a two minute drill.
I haven't yet tested to see what the patch offers in terms of gameplay at default slider levels, but I am seeing a few things I really like.
I'm noticing that my pass-rushing DEs are using their moves now. Has anyone else seen this? I can't tell if it's placebo or if the patch somehow activated those moves.
I really like the way the defensive tendencies manifest themselves. I'm seeing more fumbles and pass breakups from big hitters laying guys out, and I'm seeing more aggressive pass defense from coverage guys.
I think the game plays a little faster in general and that the speed threshold has changed somehow, which isn't bad but takes adjusting to.
I agree with Canes that there are weird times when scrambling QBs just look totally lost some games and take way too many sacks, but it's not super common. I played one Gump QB who took like 8 sacks because he kept trying to scramble right into the rush.
HB screens are still a problem. I'm going to create custom books that eliminate them, period.
Have not read this in the impressions, so may have missed it - but where are the dirty uni's? I played an entire game in a rain storm, on grass in all white uni's and nothing???

I think where the tendencies were fixed, now most DE's are pass rushers again and are playing like them too. I may be wrong, but I thought the bug pre-patch made DT's pass rushers and DE's balanced which is why the pass rush was so backwards.

OK, I'm glad I'm not seeing things. What you describe is exactly what I'm seeing. The rush now comes from the outside primarily and DTs aren't doing the crazy instant whip/rip through the OL that they were before. I don't use the phrase game-breaker, but the way they messed that part of the game up at release was nearly a game-breaker for me.
Now the rush feels much more natural.
Have you or anyone else noticed "coverage" DBs and LBs making more plays on the ball on their own? I am seeing increased interception numbers because these guys are attacking the ball in the air in ways they didn't use to. It's pretty cool to see the ballhawks at work now, but I'm going to have to adjust sliders to account for the change.
LOL great job EA!!! The patch didnt fix the DC glitch that everybody does online.
It also didnt fix the pa jet sweep glitch! Wow just wow. Do they even care? Online is unplayable in ranked matches

I completely understand. The DT's getting all of the pass rush frustrated me so much and was the main tendency that made me take a break from the game until a week before the patch dropped.
And I've noticed my DB's at Miami, who are balanced and coverage are breaking on the ball a lot more than the DB's I have at Baylor that are all Hard Hitters except like on CB who is balanced. It's nice to see players playing to their tendencies so much. Now if EA could implement more tendencies like Madden did, then the gameplay would be amazing.
After many games I've come to one conclusion: this patch sucks. Just awful..****ined an already screwed up game. Way to go EA...waited forever for this to drop and now this game is near unplayable with it. Only way to even get some semblance of normalcy is to jack up the speed threshold to 100... very disappointed and yet again another waste of money. i LOVE football, and this game is so disappointing...

damn mk, if you're giving up on the game, I'm not sure there is any hope for it barring some kind of miracle quick fix via tuner next week.

I feel 180 degree different then you do. It never fails, with every single patch that is put out for every game, a certain percentage will think that it exponentially improves the game, and a certain percentage will think that it is a game destroyer.

I'm glad that I am in the former camp.
I'm with you here. The patch has actually made the game playable again. Yea the new bugs it brought are big, but they are nowhere near as big as the tendencies bug and the awful gameplay we had before, in my opinion at least.

Funny you should mention Miami. The game I just played with them was the one where I really could see those DB tendencies showing themselves in game-changing ways. Those guys are hawks. That defense as a whole is a blast to play with actually.
And MK, I hate to hear that your experience has been soured. Varsity probably is a dead duck at this point, but AA is pretty good still.
