Can you edit CPU depth charts in dynasty now? I know thet said you would have more control over rosters in dynasty

all you're doing is changing the plays in the current formation. That doesn't work

I'll say it again for emphasis.

I will NEVER buy an EA Sports Football Title on it's "release" day again. Ever.

This coming from someone who has spent countless hours making stadium sounds, editing rosters, spending 100 bucks to get the game 3 days EARLIER than the release day.

It's September 8th. September freaking 8th. This game was released on July 12th and I have had it since July 7th. That is 2 MONTHS of buggy, glitch filled fun....

Now, we finally get a "patch"..and it unleashes a whole new can of worms by destroying the No Huddle offense and apparently jacks up Custom playbooks. Those are confirmed.

I haven't even talked about the glorious "Transfer failed" issues in OD.

I'm angry. I'm really really angry.

To add to my anger, as others have pointed out, we have EA reps all over the place pre launch making post after post after post. Then....the game drops...bug after bug after bug is found...MAJOR bugs...and it's a ghost town. Not a whisper.

If I had known about all of the issues pre patch...I would never have bought the game until after the patch was out. If I had known that the patch would just screw up other features...I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT PERIOD. This...the end all be all sport in my eyes. That's how jacked up this game is.

NBA 2k is right around the corner and Online Association along with it. But I'm at the end of my leash with the comedy of errors that is NCAA Football 12.

.
This is the worst part of it. No PR for EA Sports at all. No one taking accountability. No apologies. And they wonder why they have such a bad rep in the gaming community. I'll never forget the scene in the "Making of NCAA Football" tv show when he said that they game passed all the tests, no bugs. What a joke.

This is sad, especially coming from you. You're a guy who puts a lot into this game and does a lot of good things for the community. The fact that you're at your wit's end is a sign that this game is ****ed beyond belief.

This is what you've done, EA. Thanks, guys.

Yes, fumbling TOO MUCH would be unrealistic. Hence the term "too much". Not hard to grasp. How is that saying that every running play in college football works perfectly? You drunk tonight?

# 949 novadolla @ 09/09/11 03:19 AM
lol try running an option, unless the defenders are blitzing they wont react to the option until the qb runs past them

I thought that was weird when I ran the Speed Option with Darron Thomas. SMH. EA Sports does it again. I understand testers have a very small time frame but damn, this is unacceptable.

Guys, EA said they're looking into the issues, calm down.

LOL. Don't worry....EA will just make all of the "fixes" new features in NCAA 13.

I'm completely calm. But still, I've defended EA on many issues. I know they don't have a ton of budget on these games, and that a lot of bugs can slip by a development team, that's life.

But some of the issues with this patch, that just shouldn't be possible on the second patch coming out months after a game. Stuff like the broken no-huddle or broken custom playbooks, that's not stuff that "slips by", those are bugs that should get noticed within minutes from starting up the game. There's no excuse for stuff like this to be in a patch that took that long to get out.

I think it's a joke.

I've never seen people get so bent out of shape over a video game as I do on this forum. This game (and others over the years) seem to be all some of you live for. It's a video game. Any version of any sports game on the market RIGHT NOW is better than versions of the same game five years ago. In NCAA '09, I was routinely rushing for 400+ yards a game on any difficultly level. Spin move, and BAM! 70 yard rush! Of course, this was somewhat rare, but only because I returned every kick/punt 50 yards.

NCAA '11 was absurdly easy to pass, making the run a stupid play call only because big yardages weren't guaranteed.

And what's still broken in '12? As far as I can tell, it's "just" the no huddle... correct? I don't even use it that much - if ever - against the CPU. Can't even remember the last time I did, and I always kinda remember it being a bit screwy. Once someone uploads the rosters again, the tendency issue should be fix.

Now, I don't play online dynasties, and I can understand the frustrations of those that do, but for the vast majority of gamers who DON'T play online dynasty, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot wrong with the game after patch 2.
