Can't wait to read this in a couple of hours. There will be plenty of complaints thrown against the devs for being too slow on fixing a patch. You know, because they naysayers and such can program so much better and all. Plenty of complaints, I can hear them and myself laughing at them.

I really hope it was worth the wait........

I appreciate them taking the time fix everything they can, but the tendencies issue should have received a hotfix in the meantime and been released weeks ago

Hopefully the extra stuff is fixing the atmosphere/crowd noise. Biggest disappointment for me.

that would definitely be a nice touch.

of course, if they were trying to replicate what you hear on tv, during a game, i'd say they have pretty much covered that angle as it stands now.

I could care less about any presentation elements or field degredation. I hope they've just fixed the online dynasties so that they are actually playable. I loved the gameplay and think the presentation elements are acceptable and hope they've spent this time working on making so that players can finish games and weeks of a season without worrying about results of those games being lost.

Having given this a small bit of thought, the intelligent marketing strategy would be to have it released on the same day Madden is. Someone who is picking up Madden might bight the proverbial bullet and pick up NCAA as well. I just hope a lot of the issues we're facing are taken care of...

They said the extra stuff was stability issues, which means freezing and crashing. Yes I know that freezing was already on the fix list but they probably found more occurrences than they expected, hence the extra time. People should not get their hopes up that they will have fixed a bunch of extra gameplay related things.

That doesn't mean there is nothing that was done that isn't in the patch notes. We already know they addressed some of the scheduling issues related to custom conferences and that wasn't on the list.

do you think it would take attention away from the madden release and media / PR blitz? maybe by releasing it after, all the disgruntled people on forums like these pick up madden since it's not still out lol

I have been waiting patiently, hoping EA gets it right the 2nd time around. I can wait another week if that's what it takes. It's too bad a lot of people got impatient and traded the game in. At least wait to see what the patch repairs and how it repaired before pulling the trigger and getting rid of it. I haven't been playing too much, just been tweaking my rosters to my liking. Thanks for update!

Let's hope EA got it right so we all can start enjoying some football!!

I doubt gameplay issues fall under the category of "stability issues" ... more than likely they located the source of some of the dynasty lock-ups and patched those.

Oops shoulda read entire thread before posting, my observation was posted above.

Madden has me now so it's just whether or not I keep NCAA or not. More than likely I will due to the player lock camera.

The notes of the OP thread clearly state that the devs took extra time in order to fix additional issues that have hampered this really good game. Why ppl would moan about that I have no earthly idea. I really don't.
You do realize its possibly 2months from release date and you can finally start your online dynasty...... Thats the reason people are ticked off. We will have bought a game NEW 2months ago and when this patch drops we will finally be able to play it.

Dirty helmets are a dealbreaker for u? No wonder EA focuses on bs and real in depth football experience.

Gee, as soon as Madden releases NCAA team "finally" finishes the patch. Color me surprised.

HIGHLY, HIGHLY disappointed. I was hoping it was already submitted.

The season starts Thursday. I know Sony's gonna take weeks to finally put the thing out.

It is really suprizing that ea would allow so many customers to become disenfranchized with a product for so long, it is a really poor business practice. If they want more money and hold back(the patch) so we buy madden, that may happen incrementally, but the negative word of mouth kills companies and their products far more than anything else. Dont they realize that we love football and the better the product, the more we buy, and even better, the more we sell for them via word of mouth? It truly baffles me because its a goldmine if they simply use sound business strategies.
