What baffles me is ppl are still whining and moaning after this patch news and what baffles me even more is when they then turn around and say, "Oh well I have Madden at least to fall back on." I don't understand that at all. If NCAA is such a bad game and if EA is such a horrible video game developer/publisher why do you buy any of their games at all?

The notes of the OP thread clearly state that the devs took extra time in order to fix additional issues that have hampered this really good game. Why ppl would moan about that I have no earthly idea. I really don't.

Well it might not be worth my time because I spent all of August being frustrated with the game. Now the actual season is starting so I will be watching football every weekend all day. I'm a busy man during the week so there just might not be enough time for me to get immersed in a dynasty with other games (2k, Madden, Uncharted) I'd like to play.

I prolly won't trade it in. But I also prolly won't really get back into a full season until December after the conference championship games. Having to restart all of my dynasties and redo everything (like formation subs which took a while) just isn't looking too fun right now.

Yes i am one that says *I have Madden to fall back on*...i have gave EA all the time in the world to get their ****t straight without one negative peep comin outta my mouth....If for some reason, a) the game is in no better condition then it was before or b) the patch is not released sometime next week, i think we all would have a right to be legitimately concerned...and notice i said concerned...not throw my tv out the window cause EA didn't go thru with their word

A pessimist is never disappointed only pleasantly surprised.

I understand that this whole process has dampered a lot of gamers' spirits...I just think it's worth giving it one more shot

I truly hope it improves the game experience. Honestly though, I'm already kind of burned out on the game from various frustrations. I hope this gets me back into it but with such a long delay the ship might have sailed for me personally.

Hopefully Sony's network can stay up long enough for them to review and post. Very excited even if it is long, long, long over due. I wonder how long this takes to review?

I have to say, I wasn't expecting EA to say when MS/Sony would be in possession of the patch. Now we have an idea as to when it might drop. Like I kind of figured, it'll probably be next week, which can't come fast enough.

I was under the impression we already had update #2. Last week I recieved an update upon starting the game. After the update, my gameplay was slower than normal making me turn up the speed and tweek some sliders. Wasn't a big deal, I just thought that was part of the new update.

Oh wow, it takes that long? Well, at least we know it's here and it's coming.

There are a lot of bugs that needed to be patched. While it is disappointing that it has taken so long to issue the patch, Tiburon must want to take care of as much as they can. Otherwise, the regs will complain more, and another patch will be in order. I expect a third patch.
