One thing I like about the presentation is that I've seen the Cowboy's intro several times but it all had different camera angles. Unlike college football last year that gave you the same exact intro with the same exact camera angles, this seems to change it ever so slightly. That’s a nice touch to give the intros a little bit more longevity. I LIKE IT. Can’t wait.

P.S. That Broncos snow game looked ridiculous.

I think the starting lineups overlay looks great but I really hope they add the rest of the offensive starters. The O-line absoulutely needs to be shown.

What I find most bizarre is that I have never seen them show the starting QB on any of those introduction banners. That tells me it is probably some kind of bug and they will add in the rest of the startes on a second banner swipe or something...

nice!!!!

can we get some vids against the AI where they are on offense, but i am loving the color of this game, i hope its not the camera settings of those recording the footage...........

This game looks great to me...although I continue to watch with no audio at work. I can only assume the commentary sounds lackluster.

The only negative I see is that the Eagles' nameplate font is still wrong. Please fix that, EA.

Other than that, this is looking very nice.

Agreed 100%. If they want to be authentic, all of the starters need to be shown. And if not all of the starters, then the QB has to be thrown in there. If they had to cut a corner, they might feel as though QB introduction as he walks onto the field the first time is enough (thus why he isn't shown in the banner).

The graphics really pop this year and the game looks so smooth. Why do the graphics looks light years better then last year? Is it mainly the new lighting and player models or something?

I just popped in Madden 11 and it looks nothing like this at all. It looks extremely dull and blurry compared to M12. I do think the 3D grass, 3D crowds, and new camera angles certainly bring out the best in M12's graphics. But even when I zoom in on a replay in M11 it doesnt look anything remotely close to this....

Gus and Chris sounded fluid in the pregame talking about the Eagles - Giants. They have a few good moments. Also, I thought it was weird when Tony Romo came out, Gus said: "Originally from San Diego, California." That was it. Was really odd, unless I missed something. Also, Gus says "#.." a lot instead of the players name. So, this can't be even close to the final build, lets hope.

QB gets his personalized banner as he runs out onto the field on the first offensive series of the game.

They probably thought this was enough.

Why can't it? It was like this last year as well (Gus' first year)...I would be willing to bet it's closer to the "final build" then you would think.

Overall....I'm liking what I'm seeing, although the gameplay does seem fast,it's an easy fix. I haven't seen anything that would have me cancel my pre-order at this point,so I take that as a good sign.

Corner routes will be money in M12 i can tell from all the E3 videos ive seen so far.

This is starting to look really good, but there are some things that just aren't adding up. Switching between cut scenes, there are moments where the team isn't there and pops up a second later. I don't know about the audio, but from the little that I heard (mostly Cris), it seems that nothing has really changed in that department. I'll give a pass because we're still a way out, but they have some tweaking to do before the drop date.

the intro banner is just players to watch for on offense and they highlight a player same for defense.

I was slightly impressed with the dialogue between Gus & Chris during the coin toss. 'It's a TRAP!' lol.... then Romo walked onto the field...

Anyone know what those small, round green stickers on the back of some Cowboys helmets are for?

It feels so incomplete. I haven't heard one new line by Chris except the intro. If they recorded the end of games, we would probably hear more of the DPP lines. I just can't believe they would go to all the trouble to upgrade the presentation, then have the commentary sound as if they are both half asleep, saying one line every 30 seconds of play. They admitted in Gus' first year, they could only do main data like names and ball position. So you would think with the same effort this year, they could have created many more lines that what we are hearing. Not only that, but he didn't even say some of the names, like Ryan Mundy, just the #. Then like I said for Tony Romo's line, it wasn't even a complete sentence or even coherent.

means he has a mic to communicate with the sidelines. 1 player on O and D gets to have them.

Anybody a little piqued by Romo's cannon, rocket arm on that last pass? ... I mean .. .he throws the ball like 80 yards, haha.

If you watch the CBS broadcasts, they announce the QB first (like in Madden) while he's running towards to huddle, then the O line and rest of Offensive starters, without the QB. So in that case, it's much like a CBS broadcast, but they still should show the rest of the starters like in real life.

It seems as though they implement great ideas into these Madden games, but they are so incomplete. smh
