already i have issues with this game. If you look at the intro for the Cowboys, you will see that Romo runs onto the field with the team, then another Romo is in the tunnel with M. Austine getting ready for final intro. Also the whole offense all move at the same time from the huddle to the line, not realistic at all. Same thing towards the end of the clip from the defense. the two corners and safeties all move at the same time in the same fashion which shows you have no control over the game, some things just happen. Another major problem. Its 2011 and we still cant get a realistic football game from EA sports. this sucks!
The tunnel thing is an issue that has been fixed since this build from what I hear.
Your other issue is pure nitpicking in my opinion, you need control over the pace that an individual player approaches the line of scrimmage? What for?

Not a big deal, but would be a nice touch to see players get to the line a little less scripted. Same thing for the defense. I hate seeing them break the huddle and walk like hunchbacks to the line.

I agree it would be a nice aesthetic touch, I'm just miffed at the fact he used that as a point to say we have "no control over the game"
But I guess people just value different aspects of the game differently than others. Just struck me as an odd complaint
Ok what happened at 5:35? Romo throws a bomb to Witten who somehow either got pushed to the left or he just turned to the left. Something didn't look right with that. Awkward.
Also a question about the commentary on that play. Why in the world would Cris Collinsworth say "I don't know if thats the guy I want to pick on 3rd down, he is tough.", when it was Witten who is one of their best players. Or is that commentary remark talking about the defensive back being tough?

Something I'd LOVE to finally make it to the game again:
Players running on and off the field. To me that makes you really have to know what your plan is and keep adapting it throught the game. So after the 1st down I get my play called and I need to do pretty quickly as players have to leave and come onto the field. This would even make using the gameplanning addition ahead of time, more worth it and more than just a way to play faster.
Yes I know it doesn't really add to the gameplay "on the field" stuff, but IMO it would add so much the the atmosphere and chess match.
Anyways I really am loving the way Madden 12 looks and can't wait to play.
Anybody a little piqued by Romo's cannon, rocket arm on that last pass? ... I mean .. .he throws the ball like 80 yards, haha.
Rocket arm? More like third stage rocket! He threw on the 10 to the 11 or so. It looked like. 89-90 yard pass and accurate to boot? Does look really good and I see some very nice things going on but that pass kinda puzzles me.
Isn't this the alpha build? I think people need to chill a bit and quit thinking what they see here is what is going to be packaged up and sold in stores. Of course there are going to be glitches in early samples. Just give it time. If we were seeing these problems on 8/13, you'd have a point, but it's not 8/13.
Footage looked good. I don't know how many times I counted people saying Romo come out twice; they've already acknowledged they are going to fix this. Definitely going to be my first Madden purchase on next gen. Finally seems worth it.
look again. ball is snapped at 5:28. ball doesn't arrive until 5:37. more like 9 seconds. which isn't unreasonable for a player to run 67 yards in 9 seconds.
Where's the rest of the vids? OS has been a little slow with the content LOL.
I asked Bumble_OS on twitter if they planned on posting any more videos soon. He said probably this week but deferred the question to Steve_OS. I do not think Steve answered him yet.
I am really looking forward to the OS videos because they are usually good quality. I am also looking forward to more of mad scientists videos because he has a TON of footage, 25 games worth he says. His camera isn't quite as clear and good quality as the OS and Pastapadre videos though.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I'd like to see some more from this Cowboys & Eagles game.
Just seems like more than any other recent year, OSers are having to ask the staff for the whereabouts of their Madden content this year. I understand we're all busy adults -- just sayin' lol.
