I have no real complaints with this footage, but I wonder if it's dated? If you think back to the previous playbooks that have been released, all of the footage was a few months old.
Perhaps that could explain Eli looking so awkward.

Well...............I skipped Madden last year. I will definitely not be skipping it this year.

The Madden "We steal ideas from 4 year old games and call them new." dev team might be able to take a few ideas from other not to be named titles, but as long as the game animates so poorly I'll pass. Please get rid of the ice skate running.

I honestly couldn't get into what they were showing with dynamic performance because the game looks so ugly in motion. My optimism for Madden 12 actually dropped a bit after this vid.

SICK! I'm really hoping that was in-game commentary, if it wasn't I will be incredibly disappointed in EA why even put it in the video cause it's just misleading. please please please be real
Is there anymore time to fix player models?
Because Eli's model looks way off.
His head looks too small for his body, he has no neck either.

Well this is no surprise

@jpdavis1982 scripted for trailer but there is authentic sounding commentary about DPP

Follow up tweet
@jpdavis1982 we have similar stuff in game but this was done before actual commentary was in game.
This may also explain some of the questions you guys have been asking about fonts and player models.

First things first. Giants Win!
second, Eli looks weird. small head broad pads/shoulders (maybe the arms are too thin?) also necks are a little short. I think players models from M11 looked just fine

It looks pretty good, but they have some work to do with the size of the flak jacket eli was wearing. I understand they aren't going to make it perfect but it just looks entirely too large/awkward right now.

Hopefully during E3 we can see a video of "non-fat" Eli that Mike Young is talking about.
