LOL at all the haters, saying the vote was not fair or it was manipulated, how old are some of you?

Vick on the cover with a bunch of Dogs chasing him down would have sold Millions of copies...

Yea because I forgot, it isn't of a grown man to believe something is fixed right? Only children think that way right? Grown adults take what they see for face value without quesiton right? \

Ok.

I can't believe how people don't get this: THERE IS NO NEGATIVE PUBLICITY!

EA would've loved PETA protesting against Vick, free advertisement for Madden what more do you want if you're EA? Plus your average PETA guy isn't buying Madden anyways and probably isn't the biggest NFL fan either.

Hmm. Negative coverage and bashing of your product to be shown to and by potential consumers being a positive? Your thinking confuses me

And yeah Browns fans may not be alone, but they are definitely mad.

Am I the only one that thought the final match-up of Hillis & Vick was EXTREMELY ironic?

In what way?

Dawg Pound vs. Mike Vick?

I wanted Hillis on the cover just because it's hilarious to me.

I don't know how people say the cover athlete has little to no effect on sales.

Jordan is on the cover of NBA 2k11 and it's the highest selling sports title in the U.S. for more months than Madden has this year. Possibly selling more than Madden 11 overall for the year. Yeah, I know NBA 2K11 was great inside the cover but Jordan has an unbreakable following driven by nostalgia and the fact he is the GOAT.

Also, someone mentioned the cover with Vick during 2004 was one of the top 3 selling Maddens and you cannot deny Vick had a big following back then... he was a highlight machine.

Which explains why Vick has been able to continue his lucrative endorsement career without a hitch.

Oh, wait...

Hillis stomped Vick.

No way the voting was legit. EA wanted Peyton Hillis the whole time.

Sarcasm?

If EA got to choose, Hillis wouldn't have been the choice. It likely would've been Aaron Rodgers.
