Aren't all 5 of those "features" said literally every year?

I have no problem with EA saying those things but people trying to find meaning in them should do something else with their time.

1st thing is that there are 6 weeks left until May (too late to add/change date).

2nd thing is that I hate to burst folks bubble who are waiting for new gameplay improvements, but the "Game Engine" is maxed out.

The only thing they can do is tweak visuals/animations to run smoother, giving the appearance that we're getting a new game.

That's why so much emphasis on the visual side and on other modes of play.

"Gameplay can/will not change until a NEW Engine is developed upon.
It simply can not be improved on the current engine.

There's a reason they have "NEVER" gone in depth about the Gameplay side since being on Next-Gen.

Never mind that 1000's of request to talk about it each year are posted.
They always steer clear of in-depth discussion and focus on tweaked Visuals and alternate Mode injections.

Let's see how many of the Mid-Major/Smaller Schools have these so called New Features added to them.
Less than 15 schools will have these injections as it relates to that particular school.
The other 105 schools will be tagging along for the ride.
Ex - Marching Bands and Field Entrances.

Will NCAA 12 have:
Coaching Carousel - keep wishing!
Broadcast Camera - let's wait and bring it in down the road as a New Fearture!
Overhauled ST Gameplay - unfortunately, the game engine won't allow nothing new to be done!
Editable Recruits - maybe 2014 as a New Feature!
Global Positional Ratings Editor - ahh, don't want gamers tinkering too much with our product!

This is just my way of laughing, as the same ol song-n-dance we do every year as though we're about to get that "WOW" type of game released to us.

Anyways, I'm a rent-before-buy person, so back to "Sum-Ribs" in sunny California!!!

My impressions from that paragraph/features lead me to believe that, unfortunately, it sounds like "road to glory" is the focus this year.... yikes. A mode that should have been scrapped 3 years ago.

That is sort of what I was thinking. The old NFL2K FPF stuff. Not interesting for me, but some may enjoy it.

I am sure there will be much more news (as always) in the coming months. It is still very early since we are 4 months away from release.

They could double their amount of existing pre-orders if they just released a screenshot with dreadlocks and coaching carousel.

Not to read too much into the little bit of info, but it definitely seems like they're focusing on road to glory. But still, the wording is kind of ambiguous, so you may be able to argue either way. I hope they're not focusing on RtG...don't like those modes in sports games.

I really liked 2011.

That being said, ugh is my response to this information. Road To Glory is boring. Played it once and hated it. Sounds like it is going to be one of the big features this year.

Really hoping that game play and dynasty improved. Would really like coaching carousel and CPU teams that recruit worth a crap.

# 50 buckeye02 @ 03/11/11 01:27 AM
If they dont fix recruting, this game will still be 100% trash. Defense needs some work too.

# 51 TrojanMan3 @ 03/11/11 02:27 AM
Im buying NCAA 12 regardless.
If RTG is the main focus then yes, we will be all highly disappointed. But as a college football fan, I will continue to purchase this game.

Just browsing, people are jumping to A LOT of negative conclusions over what really amounts to no specific information. Much ado about nothing.

# 53 georgiafan @ 03/11/11 09:43 AM
Like everyone else I would be mad if RTG was the main focus. If done right I could spend some time with it unlike past years, but it will never replace my dynasty.

This is the same stuff that is listed as last years game, the year beore that, and the year before that.......so on. I want to know this:

"Will NCAA 12 have:
Coaching Carousel - keep wishing!
Broadcast Camera - let's wait and bring it in down the road as a New Fearture!
Overhauled ST Gameplay - unfortunately, the game engine won't allow nothing new to be done!
Editable Recruits - maybe 2014 as a New Feature!

Something I noticed i that "new" features are never truly "new" with EA. SCEA brings in new features to The Show every year and keeps improving in all aspects of the ga,me. Look, I love college football and NCAA 12 is our only choice, I just wish EA stop acting like it's our only choice and act like they have competition.

Got really excited when I saw the title then I opened the thread..

# 57 ab2c4 @ 03/11/11 11:18 AM
It's simply too early to tell. This "info" being released by EA isn't really info at all, it's just to get people thinking about the game again. We still have four months until release and this "info" just makes me want to go home tonight and play some NCAA football since I haven't played any since December.

A lot of people on here are acting like that list said, "RTG will be the main focus, We feel that Dynasty is good enough to skip a year."

What is the brand "new" feature in The Show? You couldn't possibly be calling the analog controls a new feature. That has been around since '05 at least.

Might be time for you to take a step back stop hating a game cause you have nothing better to do. In the very least wait until you can formulate an educated point of view towards NCAA 12.
