I hate it when people say "RTG is a waste of space" or "Scrap RTG and add more to Dynasty and gameplay". NBA 2k, Fifa, NHL doesnt a have problem with disc space and it has a "Be a Pro" and a good Career mode. The only problem is that recent years in both MAdden and NCAA, they would add/improve a feature and it wont be looked at in years.
Do you really think that Dynasty wont be a main priority? Offline Career/Dynasty for any sports game. I fully expect Dynasty to be fixed/overhauled. I would be disappointed if it isnt.
I dont know why alot of people get angry when RTG is improved. When it isnt everyone wants it off.
I dont expect them to release any info on offline/online Dynasty until a month or two before the release.
Some people expect Devs to say, "A fully overhauled Dynasty that would rival any other Career mode." with 4+ months left.

The entire EA marketing department should be relieved of their duties. Their two revelations so far, have possessed as much excitement as a relative breaking wind.
Why? Because you're reading too much into it?

Hardcore gamers hardly make a difference in the realm of who buys games for EA. Hardcore will purchase regardless no need to cater towards you.

Well, I see some good hints of what might be new features. I think if they can improve on the crowd atmosphere and make rivalry games feel more intense somehow then that would be a very good thing.

I really hope they make some big changes to offline Dynasty mode though. Outside of recruiting changes my favorite mode has remained largely the exact same for years.

Also like others have said, I hope Road to Glory doesn't end up being the main focus of this game. I've never even finished a game of RtG because it just gets very boring and repetative rather quickly.

Amen!!!!

Not a fan at all of these "My player / Superstar / Single player" type modes. PLEASE don't let this be the focus this year.

Enhanced presentation however....I can dig that big time!!

I'm a hardcore gamer and I will definitely not buy NCAA Football 12 if they don't make some serious changes/improvements to offline Dynasty and gameplay. I guarantee it.

RTG hasnt been any type of focus in years. Besides a tweak a few years back it hasnt touched at all. So it deserves to be improved/overhaul

I don't at all what they do to this game. If they don't completely re-vamp the gameplay so the QB can run a proper spread/option game then no way I buy this game again. Put all the fluff you want in the game, if gameplay sucks then game sucks.....simple math.

Yes! I love when their idea of "presentation" is everything BUT the broadcast. As if it isn't awesome enough to view those cutscense of the mascots and cheerleaders after every play instead of replays, now they'll be adding MORE! EA, on the money as always! Can't wait.

Actually, there is nothing to read into. They've said nothing. Not one of us knows one more thing about this game than we did two weeks ago. Why even put this out there? It contains nothing.

It's not like the dev team released a blog about this. It just a simple list that Steve found and posted. Again your reading too much into it.

I'm not all that interested in these "features" from the marketing team....can't wait to get some real info.

I liked how last year they kicked things off with 8 or 9 "small" features that the community really wanted (formation subs being the main one).

I always here this, including from EA, but I have NEVER seen any actual data that backs this up. Now maybe there has been studies done and I just am unaware, but I'm leaning towards pulling the BS flag on this crap.

# 35 boxboy99 @ 03/10/11 06:36 PM
I know it is early but I am on board with the "those are not features" bus.

# 36 Kaiser Wilhelm @ 03/10/11 06:37 PM
Lets just say I know more new info for a game being released in 2012 that I do this game.

Strike that, I know more new info about two games scheduled to be released in 2012.

I agree with Stevie. The option game needs to be improved. While the pageantry and atmosphere can be spun as what makes college football differ from the NFL, gameplay makes a difference, as well.
This release by EA is just a teaser. My mind is on Spring Training. The game won't be out until mid-July. Once the demo is released I'll check out the reaction, then make my decision.

NCAA Football used to be a release day purchase for me. This year I am hanging on to NCAA FB 11, avoiding selling it, and not pre-ordering 12. NCAA 11 was the best next gen college football game. Credit goes to Tiburon for that. The early release of FIFA 11 means that I didn't play as much of and get burned out on NCAA 11. If NCAA 12 doesn't show further improvement, I'll just skip a year.

Not impressed. Just saying same stuff they say every year, "the most realistic college experience yet". I was expecting an actual feature, like last year wenlearned alot from one screen, and we get this. I know it's early I am well aware, but if your going to say it's new features then make it actual features. Aboard the "these are not features" bandwagon as well now.

I am sure I am reading into this too much but................. first person view?????

# 40 shanew21 @ 03/10/11 07:33 PM
This is not info at all. This is just a poorly done hype machine.

Although when it said enhanced in-game presentation with authentic crowd chants I raised an eyebrow. I hope they improve the broadcast presentation as well.
