Very simple question sir. Why does speed dictate which teams are the best? Why are the Raiders the best team on madden? Why do you think most players pick the teams with the most speed online? If I'm wrong please explain why speed is not the most important thing. I play madden 80% of the time over any other game (always have) But IMO and a lot of others as well, we need to be explained why speed isn't the most important thing (if it isn't) Or what you guys plan on doing (or if you agree, acknowlede, there are a lot of people out there ( a lot) that believe speed is the most important thing)
We can talk about Fanchises and Animations, but if speed makes the best team, that makes the game unrealistic and a obvious flawed game. Now I could be wrong and If I am, I urge you to acknowledge this on your show and share some information with us so we can understand better and have a new understanding on what REALLY MATTERS and speed is not the Number one thing you need to win games. Because right now, I know It's not a fact and I can't prove it where it's 100% certain, But the Raiders are the best because they have the most speed.
Online Franchise Questions:
1. Do you guys have any plans on improving online franchise drafts & free agency?
2. Many people wish there was a practice option for our online franchise teams. Do you think this can make the next Madden?
3. You think there will be the option to try trading off and allow flex scheduling in Online Franchises in Madden 2012? (I feel this would make a big difference in leagues completing season with less owners leaving)
4. Mini camp with your online franchise team? Better yet just give us the option to export the team into a save file if possible.
Gameplay Questions:
1. Do you think we can expect improvements in Pro-Tak and Procedural Awareness in Madden 2012?
2. Can you speak on your plans on improving the penalties to match more of the NFL's? (ie. ineligible receivers, intentional grounding, defensive holding, & illegal touching by receivers)
3. Can we get some mini games that actual help you with in game action?
4. What happened to user made tourney off & online?
5. Can we please get a small team to experiment with custom plays & playbook balancing implementation?
6. Can we get and improvement to pump fake timing and block shedding timing (especially with the D-Line vs O-line)
7. Will we be able to see more effectiveness of awareness and coverage skill when it comes to DB play over the speed rating?
8. Do you guy have any plans to bring back the ability to save offline games?
9. PLEASE, I mean PLEASE have an open beta test for upcoming maddens... I beg you! Many small things like commentary timing issue would be addressed earlier.
Presentation Questions:
1. Can we get an option to play the extra point right after our week is over during offline franchise?
2. Any future plans to extend extra point into half-time report?
3. Extra point for online franchises a possibility?
( As you can see the extra point is my favorite in the presentation)
Thanks for you open forum type of development Ian & Madden Crew. I loved the weekly roster updates this year, as well the improved run blocking logic.
Those moments where the AI does things that you would thing only a Human opponent would do make for the best 1 player mode experiences.... Just had to add that...
The podcast is only playing for about a minute through the online menu in madden for PS3. The podcast cuts off mid sentence every time.
I have a few topics maybe brought up already.
For franchise, Is it possible to have the 43 teams draft proper defensive ends and vive versa?
Last year people complained about lack of sacks, I had no problems, but this year I do with pass rush DE's. Ive simmed a few seasons in multiple leagues and Freeney/ Mathis have never got more that 5 sacks a season.... DT Antonio Johnson always has more. 3-4 ends record more sacks too in a 43. Im a pass rusher on madden, and it annoys me something bad.
Lastly, I'd like to see Customizable formation packages re-added. Much easier to get personel changed depending on weak side strong side or however else one chooses to set up their formation packages.
I really hope they go back and play madden 2005, they could just use that same franchise mode.. Its miles ahead of the current one..
Humm maybe this is the reason why the series isn't progressing, instead of aiming for new exciting things, we all want features from 5 years ago. I understand some of us miss those features and that years Madden blew this years one in terms of actually options, but i don't want something from 5 years ago, i want something completely new; something only achievable on this generation of consoles.
Maybe that is still doing concession prices and stuff, but the overlaying imagine and options have to be more in dept. We have to get something we couldn't have gotten before
Will player training make its way back into Madden? I liked the option of being able to make individual players better by practicing. I don't see why that was ever removed.

I hated it!
The drills were not near as fun as the PS2 but also the idea of picking 3 players and improving the rating of your choice doesn't happen in real life.

I agree that it wasn't fun but removing it is not the solution. I don't agree that this doesn't happen in real life. Focusing on a specific skill to improve on is something that players do all the time. I don't know what you mean by that.
We also have a fully populated half-resolution sideline
I haven't played Madden 11, but if it is anything like NCAA 11, the fully populated half-resolution sideline is not something I would be "bragging" on. It looks awful and has for years on all of the next gen consoles. Completely detracts from the entire experience and it is something that the other game completely nailed to the point where it felt rewarding even just running out of bounds....
Just installed Quicktime and had a listen.
Still going with "Everything you see on Sunday". Sounds good but when it was used to get the awful break gang tackle animation because Steve Smith did it once and the David Tyree catch in the game I am not a fan. The problem with putting these freak plays in is they are no longer freak plays but a gamely occurance. I would much rather they follow every other games and go the calender approach in offline franchise and put everything I see Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the game.
I would also like to hear what restrictions are imposed by the NFL. For example it's very annoying when I start a franchise mode and Ben Roethlisberger is third string all season instead of suspended for four games. This is easy to solve but are you allowed?

I agree they should have got them back to ps2 caliber and it does happen in real life. 2 specific examples for me.
1.Darren Sharper's rookie year in Green Bay his tacking was terrible and he was called out on it. He focused on that in the offseason and came back his sophmore a solid tackler who made the pro bowl.
2. AJ Hawk has been criticized for his coverage skills. As of week 8, he has 8 passes defensed and 2 ints, both tops for lbs. Obviously, he focusing on this part of his game.

Sure players focus on improving particular skills but usually in the off-season and the coach definately doesn't sit down every week and pick 3 lucky players and exactly what he wants to improve. I am sure Rex Ryan would like V.Gholston to improve his football I.Q. and I bet Vernon has tried but that doesn't make it so.
