darned if you do, darned if you dont. 2k10 featured AI that would streamline passes to the cutter before you or your CPU teammates could respond... Is that basketball?

2k11 feels much more natural. Not every player will find the open man on every possession within 1 second of getting open. More often than not, I am seeing intelligent real life looking AI.

What's next, the SHAQ test? btw, try guarding Rondo with Bynum and move around. You'll fall flat on your butt

Man the PS3 demo seems just fine to me. I've played 5 times, and the controls feel a lot more realistic then ever before.

I love how even the ball seems to have a life of its own. Every pass doesn't result in the same handful of animations. The ball isn't sucked right into players hands like before.

The sound is great, can't wait to hear the broadcasting added to it.

I find it interesting to see the depth of what appears to be shadows. At the free-throw line, I can see the shadow of the ball on the players jersey.

I gotta play this demo 50 more times man. Great stuff.

The whole goal thing i can't respond becausei haven't heared that in the game maybe its only on the ps3 version
I don't agree with this. It depends on the team, and the situation of the game. I've been to a few lakers games at staples and the crowd is not hyped from the beginning of the game. They don't usually get really loud til the 4th quarter, a game 7 or a lakers come back. Trust me.

Boston crowd for example is consistently louder than LA throughout the game. Same with utah. Portland also has a great crowd.

I'm going to download the demo when I get off of work and personally I don't care about the crowd being loud or whatever. It's just a video game, but crowd noises vary so much.

My main gripe is the ball looks real different. It looks like a EA Street ball compared to 2K.

I noticed that the stamina bar is not in the gam anymore. At least not in the demo. I'm partially happy about this.

The Celtics got called for a Defensive 3 Second Violation and Derek Fisher shot the FT. The devs need to change this to Kobe in the Retail version.

Has anybody seen spin moves like these in the demo:

I haven't been able to do a move a like that so far, the part im most concerned about is how the players use their bodies take the defender out of the play.

Like it but too slow and sluggish...definantly will be turning up game speed. Just watching games on TV the action is alot faster.

how do you post up?

PS3 version: first of all the person who claimed you could play as either is a liar and should be banned

Very bright which is nice..a ps2 level of Jaggies on a 54-inch plasma..not so nice

Why release this demo without at least some playcalling ability?

The game plays fine..it's 2k I know what I am getting

Hopefully in the final version the glass will not turn orange periodically

To me this demo neither hurts or helps 2k..kind of a waste without the ability to preview the new features..they had a chance to KO the competition with this demo...they squandered it imho

Thanks for confirming the camera cuts

I also think the 360 has the staples crowd part right better as far as it being darker in the background since the lights were out

Just noticed as the Cs were on a FB that some cameras started flashing as he made his move on me

Just accidentally walked the dog and didnt pick it up so Rondo comes and dives on the floor for the ball... then I run over and have to tie him up for a jumpball.. all under my control though

There is play calling ability, its just a bit tricky to do. I posted a few pages back how to do it.

Had that happened to me when I was on the break with Kobe, they knew a dunk was comin and I posterized Rondo with it was a cool moment.

I have been through the comments and can't find an answer so.....is the demo available outside of USA yet for PS3? I thought it was supposed to be a global release or did I misinterpret that to mean it was released in all stores at the same time?

How in the world do you do dribble moves on the ps3? Like crossovers and stuff, I'm new to 2k bball.

# 737 blues rocker @ 09/14/10 10:09 PM
i have to say many animations still feel delayed and not responsive...pass animations for example sometimes take too long for the player to pass after hitting the button.

body contact when dribbling still feels like suction...you get stuck to the defender and can't break out of it...i don't care who says you can break out of contact animations...you can't.

and after this thing takes 2 and a half hours to DL....here we go!

# 739 Nodima @ 09/14/10 10:11 PM
If I remember right, 2K10 on 360 had the dark lights and 2K10 on PS3 didn't. Shame they didn't fix this this year.

HUGE PROBLEM...post up into a fadeaway jumper is impossible to defend...it will be a major cheese move if not addressed...the CPU has posted me up and made every turn around jumper with my hand in its face...i have yet to see the CPU miss a post up turn around jumper...all shots were closely contested.
