From the best I could decipher from my own archives and synergy's a team like the bulls still has the plays they ran from last season. While with the Heat I could see they transplanted some of lebron's set's from cleveland into Miami.

Obviously no one has a crystal ball. Good thing is with over 1,000 plays the community should have no problem keeping them more accurate than they have ever been.

THink about it man. You had fun playing 2k10 with 80 plays spread across 30 teams.. How much variety can you really see if that is the case ? Almost every point guard in 2k10 on default rosters shares at least 1 play. You have Dwade and tony parker and manu all using the same exact play ?

How can you have teams REALLY playing different if that is the case ?

From that standpoint its a whole new game of 2k. The only team that run thunder sets in the game right now are the thunder. that means if you play them once a season or twice you won't see those sets again all year....

That's HOTT

Czar, no wonder you lose by 20, you don't get enough sleep, man.

Keep it up! Well done!

Nice work Czar, definitely looks like a more cohesive play calling system....

Question for you, did the new system for calling plays feel intuitive and less cumbersome than using the d-pad?

The Nets as well with the new players they signed, plus they have Avery Johnson and Sam Mitchell on the sideline.

Anyways, Czar! Thanks man for doing all these videos. You deserve a rest !

You're right man, each team as a team felt too much alike in 2k10...

Now the latter part of this post is what is so amazing... Playing a season you will truly not be able to use the exact same tactics to stop each team, so you cant get complacent and lazy on defense..

That is monumental IMO!.. or as you said HOTT, lol

I might actually get into franchise mode now. I hated playing a team that had the same plays as the team I just played. Motion 1 backdoor cut (for the point guard) must of been on every single team last year. Now you have to think twice before shooting the passing lane.

It's a dude with an absolute passion for the game of basketball. Not NBA 2K11, but the game of basketball itself. There's no sleepin' for that dude.

Hey big man, don't make yourself sick, or take away from your family, or jeopardize your real job! Seriously. Screw 2K if it comes to that. Getting to bed at 3:30 to be at work at 6 is hell. Trust me, I know. But don't go crazy man.

You're so right. I hated seeing the same plays over and over in 2k10. Most of the time I could tell what was coming and overplay a specific side because of the set the AI was running. This changes everything. I will know have to adjust on the fly. That is awesome.

Thanks Czar for all the effort with this series. We all know it's difficult but none of us will truly know how tough this has been. We all appreciate your work and it's really given us a preview of what to expect. With less than a month to go and the amount of hype that is surrounding this game, these videos are the perfect remedy for some of us who are ready to burst because we can't wait to play this game. Thanks again, and as you said, you know we appreciate your effort, but it always feel good to hear it. This series makes my days at work go by so much faster. Awesome stuff man

This is going to make the OS League that much better. That means every time I play someone, I'll probably see a COMPLETELY different style of play.

Sup FAM ! been a minute. Most definitely more intuitive. Playing 2k10 again is like the stone ages as far as hitting that dpad.

In 2K10, solid scouting reports are now required. Damn!

Czar, can you talk about the defensive plays as well? Were there added defensive plays like the Lakers's and Celtics's Strong Side Zone D?

Don't worry, as a Raptor fan I can tell you Sam Mitchell's entire playbook has been well represented in 2K for years, it's even been abusable.

Hope you enjoy watching a Harris-Lopez pick and roll 3 times a possession for 82 games.

Got to love 2K adding more "procedural awareness" without advertising it as a new game feature (since it's not) and without using it as an excuse as to why they couldn't drastically improve other areas in need (since they did).

What a refreshing change...

Hey Czar, just wanted to show my appreciation for all the hard work you pour into these vids, the end result is mind-blowing!

Yup, some fundamental post move from Timmy. And lots of high screen and rolls from Manu and Timmy.

The Spurs!

Get ready for people to complain about back door cuts, before they realize that's exactly how the Spurs play in real life.

Hopefully we'll get a good look at the inside-outside game as well, preferably with Duncan and Ginobili
