YAAAAYYYY!!! I can finally punish those "sim league" passing-lane campers with patience and deception. Not that it wasn't possible before, but this new play system will really help.

I gotta say Czar, those CG overlays during the intro are TOP NOTCH. Is that your work? It's seriously one of the best overlays i've ever seen. No joke, looks really good!

Quick Question though...

As part of your Ten Teams in Ten Days Playbook Romp, Will you hilghlight a CLASSIC Bulls Squad and break down some Triangle for us old b-ball heads?

As a side note, after watching your vid, I can definitely see why the previous movies, especially the Magic-Nuggets vid, looked very smooth. The CPU is looking fundamentally nasty right now.

October can't come sooon enough!

Well there goes my social life lol. Seriously though, I seriously can't wait to get my hands on the game!!! The association mode will be more fun because of this. I just hope this will work with fantasy draft teams and what not.

I found more vids of Thunder running plays somewhat similar to 13 Fade shown by Czar. The only differences are backscreens were set and the play might be called as 14 Fade since Jeff Green (PF) was the primary option.

Here they are...

Yep. Its all well and good that the user gets to utilize authentic plays etc..
BUT. does the CPU utilize them???

I would be more impressed if this video was showing how the CPU runs the offense.

The CPU did run plays on Czar's video. At 8:21, he mentions "Let's see the CPU Thunder go to work." and then shows how the CPU Thunder execute against Denver. The last play was run by CPU as well.

So yeah, the CPU utilizes the offensive plays and smartly selects the play depending on the shot clock.

Did you have your volume up when you were watching?

From about 8:20 on you see 3 or so clips of the CPU Thunder running their offense (using their authentic plays, mind you).

Outstanding work Czar and Sage!!! So much work has been put into that 11 minutes i can only imagine how much work is going into 9 more of these bad boys!!!

I'm already excited for this year's "it's the little things..." thread in the 2k forums.

This game has the potential to teach the uninitiated the true nuts and bolts of basketball and cater to both the sim nation and the dunk happy regular joe's imo.
