this video was so much more informative than the dev insight. i didnt have a problem with the directional pad playcalling system but the plays themselves in past 2ks really needed an overhaul and it looks like they really improved it this year.
great job da czar and sage, cant wait to see the next vid.

Da Czar!! Props man, everything was on point. The info, the editing, the presentation(Sage!), the info and.. the info. lol
Your hard work has paid off. And thanks to you i can reap some of the benefits. This video here has inspired me to learn the intricacies of the NBA plays and utilize it in 2k11.
Only plays i ever ran before were pick and rolls and quick low post plays.

I'm a basketball novice and 2k10 was a blast with the right rosters and sliders, this looks like it's even better. I still forget what positions the 1's & 3's are but this playcalling system looks like it can teach me the "X's & O's" of basketball the way Madden showed me in football.
Great video and I loved the bonus tidbit about "defensive anticipation, offensive advantage". The defensive cut off move seems like it will be a great addition(especially for baseline-D) and one I cant wait to take advantage of with the arsenal of isomotion moves.

I should not have watched this...The Czar just made the wait for the other 9 videos and 2K11 a hundred times more painful.
Great vid. Now I'll just go sit in a dark room, stare into the darkness and wait for the next one....

The things that stuck out to me in the videos are the players falling from contact. I can't recall seeing that in 2k10. And i always wanted to see that in the game.

And also the collision between Westbrook and Dirk on the last play.

The collision on the dirk play really made it noticeable that 2k has added some kind of physics/collision system this year. Looked really good too.
Czar just breaks down everything so lovely man, and I'm loving the new graphics. Looks super tight man. I'm looking forward to these videos more than anything now. I also loved the 2k10 comparison. 2k really put their foot in this game this year. Just sick sadistic addictive stuff.

That was a great video. It's nice to see how far the plays have come from 2K10. The new play calling system is definitely an improvement and the way the players run the plays was even better. The Westbrook and Durant sequence toward the end left me excited. The way the two players and their different threats affected the way the defense adjusted and were eventually punished seemed very true to life.
I'm hoping that the defense is so tough on Sim/Hall of Fame, that it's a neccessity to run plays. In my 20+ years of videogaming, I never had to run a single play in a basketball game (the defense was just too easy to break down off the dribble). I'm hoping that ends this year!!

LOL man that buzzword took off didnt it
Thanks for showing the vid. Looking good, but I didn't like Billups sliding on defense at 8:36-8:38. He kept up with Westbrook without even taking a step. I hope this doesn't happen a lot.
I'm like a seven year old on Christmas Eve.
I'm so giddy I don't know what to do with myself.
2K took every criticism on board, and went out of their way to smash the nay-sayers. No buzz-words, no gimmicks, just building on the solid foundation they have already laid.
Jordan.
I will never swallow that '1 year is not enough to implement all our ideas for improvements' spiel ever again.
I'm sorry I ever doubted you Ronnie and the rest of the 2K crew.
I want to pull a Cartman and put myself in cryo-stasis till Oct 5th. 2K, you've got my money.

Also, it could just be the angle but it looks like Nene's head is at rim level going after a rebound. 1. Nene doesn't get up that high 2. Big men use their length and positioning to grab rebounds rather than quickness and hops like the smaller players do.
