the guy who is playing with the Mavericks said in one of the videos that he is playing it (2k basketball) for the first time, and i believe him :-)

looks very good to me, can't wait to play with jordan!

Game looks real good. Im going preorder this tomorrow. Anybody who say this game looks like 2k10, has got to be blind or smoking something they shouldn't be smoking.

Yeah, I did notice that as well. Chalmers was hitting the high glass on fast breaks too.

Otherwise, looking pretty darn solid. I appreciate the videos.

I'm taking a leap of faith and assuming they will change. I can't see how they could have that locked into place, though I agree it looks so good it seems unmaleable.

Player movement and shooting looks good, but the thing that stands out the most to me is the ball movement.... Just look how the ball reacts to the court, rim, and passing.. The ball looks like it has weight now. AMAZING.

i felt the speed was just right...not to fast not to slow but as Ripcity pointed out the dunking seemed floaty...

im really hoping that the huge shotclock is only available in Casual mode....i dont need a huge clock telling me when im almost out of time...

I'll wait until I see some true gameplay vids before i pass judgment.

presentation looks good, lebron may be a touch too built but still good. only gripe is that the animations look a little too much like Live with the ball arcing really high and bouncing about a foot higher than the square, which isn't realistic, but if that's gonna be the only negative, ill definitely be getting it 1st day

I'm with you on both accounts. Unfortunately, I don't think the giant shot clock will leave with a mode change. However, I hope there's an option to simply just turn it off ourselves (the huge box, not the shot clock itself). I'm also hoping I can spring a half court trap this year without Clark blurting, "Looks like they're going to try a half court trap here".

For what it's worth, I think he was referring to your original spelling of credibility (quoted in his post). That's all, no biggie.

Loving the camera view. I always use broadcast but even with the customization in the camera angles I wanted more. This is it.

The CPU offense looks beastly even just from the demo. A lot of intelligent decisions. Hopefully it will be on CH2K8's level.

# 54 -DaVe- @ 08/20/10 12:58 AM
The CPU was absolutely killing that Dallas scrub.

I noticed there was alot of tipped passes , which was great to see.

YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT!
The game looks much much smoother!
The transitioning of movements are so natural this year

# 56 scottyp180 @ 08/20/10 01:08 AM
The movements and animations are the best and most realistic I have seen in a basketball game. If the controls for this game are fluid and responsive then this game will be legendary

C'mon now... you know if he played like that in Live it would look just as bad. He's playing it as if it's Nba Jam taking halfcourt shots, shooting with bigs, and throwing oops as if someones gonna catch it and spin 4 times before dunking.

After watching all the videos, this game has so many little details done right, it would be a pain explaining them all.

Some highlights for me:

-I loved seeing the AI CPU tip or steal stupid passes.

-Jumpers look really smooth and flow well. Loving the momentum and footplanting. I also didn't see any sliding.

-Really nice to see when you try to force the ball in the paint, you lose the ball.

-I love the gather animation Shawn Marion did at 32-33 seconds in this vid.

This really resmembles real-life basketball.

The only gripe after watching them all is when Dirk got injured everything/everyone stopped. In real life the Mavs would call a Time-Out or wait until a dead ball to take Dirk out. Either that or Dirk plays through the pain.

I just don't like when injuries occur(this has been the case in 2K NBA games for awhile) they can sub out of the blue/everything stops.

The fact that this is my only complaint speaks volumes as to how good 2K11 will be. It's going to be a kick-*** game!!

Oh yeah does the AI CPU front the post? Maybe they do it in Simulation?

Well nearly everything has been said except for good job on finally giving the real name fonts in the back of the jerseys.
