Well I have already got/played the full version so these are my pros and cons.
Pros
-Catch debugging tool works lots of catch animations.
-Gus Johnson is excellent. You wont get pauses in commentary in full version.
-Graphics are best in the series for Madden.
-Deep ball is back.
-So far the cpu has challenged the correct rulings.
Cons
-Run blocking is not as good as NCAA.
-Ball travels too slow in the air.
-AI rubberband still there.
-I cant find out how to do hot routes there is no instructions on how to do it. Not even on game controls.
-Locomotion not as good as NCAA.
So far I like except the lame crowd between plays. Why so quiet?! lol
Main reason the crowd is quite at times is that they had to edited and take out alot of the announcing and stuff so the demo would download faster. It will be fine in the final version
Having played both the only difference between the demo and retail is the crowd noise. For some reason in the demo crowd noise is bugged out. If you like the demo get the game, if you don't pass on the game, unless they day 1 patch the game, what you see in the demo is what you will get when you purchase the full game.

Oh I forgot, thanks for reminding me. Kinda silly of us to compare a demo with a final bld, plus patch retail copy of NCAA.

NCAAF 11 > Madden 11
Press up twice on Dpad then select receiver then select route.
They have to patch this! I can't believe this strategy pad nonsense. It's not intuitive and it's not efficient. What were they trying to accomplish with this?
It's really destroying the game for me. Presnap adjustments are a thing of the past and can no longer be done with the ease that they were once done. I'd be lucky to make one adjustment per snap now. I really don't get it.
I might be wrong but the strategy pad to me seems like a simplification of the whole pre-snap stuff - the elusive Madden noobs they constantly strive to appeal to probably told them they were confused by all the different combinations of button/stick adjustments - and they put it all onto the D-pad.
But where has the defensive receiver spotlight gone ??

NCAAF 11 > Madden 11
By 'Rubberband" do you mean comeback AI, or something else?
Threw an out pattern to B. Edwards and it went the way it should. The DB didn't jump the route and block it or pick it off for 6 the other way. Very nice!
Yeah, I think people are crapping prematurely on Madden. The strategy pad warrants the criticism, but the demo has only been out a couple hours lol. How can you declare that NCAA blows this out of the water so fast?
Um - did you play them both? It doesn't take much time to realize which one looks and play a better game of football to me and apparently many others. The NCAA game nailed the atmosphere of really bringing you into the game and unfortunately I didn't get that feeling at all playing the Madden demo.
I have a feeling the Stratgey pad is going to be the main complaint people will have with madden 11 when it comes out. I don't know if they can revert back to the old controls are not. But I think this is something Ian and Phil needs to look into doing if they start getting a ton of complaints about it. I have to agree with people that on the D side of the ball the strategy pad is almost usless to you because the AI will snap the ball a few seconds after getting to the line of scrimmage. But the Strategy pad on the offense side of the ball ain't that bad so long as you ain't using the accelarated clock. But overall if Ian and Phil would work on fixing the Strategy pad issue then the game overall is good.
from what i got to play at my friends house over the weekend. the retail is way more polished. and the dbs play better. the demo feels closer to ncaa than it does the final version of madden.

Well the first 5 or 6 games I played with it I hated it as well. But once you get use to it, it's no different than the old way really. I still see no real reason to change it up though.
trust me guys, this demo does nothing to show how madden will be.the full game is waaaaayyyyyyy better. There is no fading of the crowd noise in the full game.there r more stadium music and noise and much more in between plays.if uve been to a real game u will know what im talking about.
honestly,i cant play this demo after playing the full game.i wont b buying it the first day but i can tell u not to make a judgement on this crappy dull, boring game..sounds like the player voices r in a tunnel..im just saying dont judge by this demo..play the full.im still liking ncaa a better this year..
