Both Chris and Christian got to play the Madden demo just a little bit early and sat down to talk through the demo and what they thought. every one i know that got the game "early" saying ncaa 11 is better, and madden 11 is either worse than madden 10 or almost the exact same..

It's very obvious Ian and co got well backed with resources for M10 but not this year. I think Ps3+360 sales will be less 3.5m this year. That would cause a shake up at EA.

Yea personally i think i'm opting out of buy Madden 2011 this year. I don't personally see a big enough jump from Madden 2010 for me to spent another $60 on this game. I brought Madden 06 on 360 when it first came out, Madden 07, skipped 08 and got 09 and 10 and now i think i'm going to skip 11.

I figure with skipping a whole year, even if 12 isn't remarkably different from 11 since i won't own 11 to get deep inside of it, 12 will feel fresh to me

But on a serious note i just don't see 11 as being all that amazing; maybe the demo will change my mind.

And the one person I know says it's the best Madden on NG. They've been very critical of each Madden on NG.

its amazing how many people know someone that has the game early, when the game has yet to be shipped to stores.

Either alot of people know people who are involved with the gaming media community, or they know people who are involved in some not so legal practices....lol

thanks for the link. i watched a few minutes of shopmaster's recorded demo play. i have to say that i'm now looking forward to playing it come tuesday. the catch animations alone seem to have given it a wow factor that the series has been missing for years.

I just cant see how anyone could make a final opinion off a demo or anyone's opinion of a demo.
the ncaa 11 demo was brutal imo, played it once and deleted it, in no way did it represent the groundbreaking football game that 11 has turned out to be.

there's copies of Madden '11 floating in the Gulf Coast!?

No I didn't know it was leaked. I didn't realize that people had actual disc copies of the game, especially since Youtube isn't flooded with gameplay vids.

lol a few people got disc copies, most got "internet" copies.

If the best thing in Madden Demo is in the passing game, and it's like NCAA, I am going to be greatly disappointed in the game. I figured most people would point to the new locomotion system since they worked on it for 2+ years.

damn this doesnt really sound too good from the impressions of the demo.

I hope we could have the damn 2k series back so each will push each other to great lengths

I know everyone has different tastes but we all know what Maddens been, gameplay wise, the past few years. I really don 't understand how the 2 of you could see the gameplay that far apart. Stale vs Solid...??
To me if if feels "Like Madden " it pretty much = Stale

In any case I'll be getting it as always but was really hopeing for a bit of better "news"

Gameplanning is part of football.
FPSFB had game planning. Don't want to use it fine but it's hardly for "noobs". While it isn't as deep as FPSFB's was, it's a nice football addition, finally.

I'd warrant a bet it's based on the collective disappointment with M11 that has been accumulating from bits and pieces here and there for a while now, not just two opinions of a demo. It's a wise stance to have - far more so than just buying it for the sake of it. You can always change your mind and get it later on, but you can't usually un-buy something.

Anyone else worried about the things we have heard about "Gameflow".. So far I have read two impression since E3 one was how as the Saints "GameFlow" called four straights runs from the 1 yard line, and now the demo seems to be the same with all out blitzes on 3 and 17... I just hope this is a small sample and this can be tuned better...
