Re: Madden NFL 11 Demo Roundtable

I'd warrant a bet it's based on the collective disappointment with M11 that has been accumulating from bits and pieces here and there for a while now, not just two opinions of a demo. It's a wise stance to have - far more so than just buying it for the sake of it. You can always change your mind and get it later on, but you can't usually un-buy something.

Anyone else worried about the things we have heard about "Gameflow".. So far I have read two impression since E3 one was how as the Saints "GameFlow" called four straights runs from the 1 yard line, and now the demo seems to be the same with all out blitzes on 3 and 17... I just hope this is a small sample and this can be tuned better...

I scoffed at the whole gameflow thing at first but after watching some demo footage I'm actually looking forward to it. It appears that you can go back to your normal playbook before the play and that you can audible. So if the "coach" calls a blitz or a run you can at least do an audible and I would assume a quick audible.

The NCAA demo sucked to me and almost got me to now buy the game, but I did and the game feels and plays very smooth and fun. Madden needs to be at least that much - if the running game does not feel as fluid I will be very un happy.

ok first off christian was playing with the jets and chris was the colts, right. christian was mad cause he couldnt get to payton and bring him down, well most NFL teams r upset about that, thats a bad argument. also 2 years ago we were complaining bout the fact that QB couldnt get the ball thrown away whin thr was a DL n front of them, i think thy corrected this on madden10, right, agreed. christian also complained bout the new gameplan mode, which as i hear it, basicly calls plays for u right, if this is the case the jets would blitz on 3rd and 17, thats what the jets do, coach ryan loves to blitz, plus i like calling my own plays, pretty sure most madden pros will also.and quickly bout the commentary, surely this isnt going to stop people from buying madden, thats jus silly, besides, how r thy gona make it to were u never hear any duplicate statements, its impossible. christian also said something bout the tackles are the same as madden10, well, this isnt wrestling, players arent creating new tackles during the offseason, these r the same tackles thats been goin on since the 1960's. come on man. for me to buy madden evry year all i need is some updated rosters, which i will get, and alittle bump n the graphics, which i thought madden 10 was great, thy can only do so much with what we love football. why add a bunch of uneccessary junk when all were going to do is one of 3 things, play the pc, play a buddy, or play online!!!!!!!!!!!
