MLB '10 The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors v4 (Opening Day Only)

I downloaded that one last night, and really didnt like some of the edits. A lot of relief pitchers now have unbelievably high stamina ratings. It looks like all they did was add 10 to the starters and then added a bunch to the relievers. it does make starters last longer, but now, my relievers never run out of enegy. they always have full energy every day.

can't wait until 4.1 comes out. thanks a lot in advance to everyone working on this project.

can't wait to see what jasnake's *special* thing that he's gonna do with these rosters is.

Yeah I just looked at some of the relievers are they are REAL high.
I liked the fact that most relievers had no stamina and couldn't pitch on back to back days.

I wonder if everything would be fine if I just upped the starter stamina one notch in my franchise play.

Has anyone done that and gotten good results?

Still no Mike Lamb on the Marlins. Also Doug Mientkiewicz, Seth McClung, and Mike MacDougal are still there even though the latter two were released during spring training and the former was on their AAA club for like a week before opting out of his contract.

Edit: I don't want to come off as ungrateful for all the massive amounts of hard work that was put into this roster. You all did an amazing job to make this game that much better and this is still the best roster available anywhere. Thanks fellas.

Increasing the starter stamina slider will work for games you play, but it's simmed games that are the issue for some since most sliders don't affect them. So alot of SP's for CPU teams are ending up not pitching enough innings....which can only be fixed by editing player ratings.

Appologies in advance, I am a "casual" fan of baseball - I just don't have the time to dedicate spare time to it given the other sports I am knee deep in. BUT, I do watch what I can, read what I can etc.

Anyway, why is Stephen Strasburg (WSH) listed in AA in this update?

T3B0W, the rosters are Opening Day rosters, so everyone is on the team they were on when the season started. Strasburg was in AA in April, so he's in AA in this roster set. There is at least one roster out there based on these that have updated transactions that will have him on the MLB roster, if you don't want to just do that yourself after you download.

No, it's downloadable through SportsConnect (in the game). AFAIK it's not an 'official' roster, and I haven't personally tried it.

Is there a spreadsheet or anything with the SCEA players and what ratings were changed for them? I have a STL Franchise going using V.2 and i dont want to have to start over, but i do want to change the ratings on the SCEA players that were changed. Thanks

Just to let all the users here know, I've released a version of the V4 rosters with all transactions made up to July 3rd on mlbdepthcharts.com. They are named
OSFM V4 UPDATE slaxative
in the roster vault.
They include 25 man rosters(to avoid screwing up the lineups after spring training) Updated Pitching rotations and lineups as well. All players on the DL can be found off the 40 man rosters.
I dont mean to hijack the thread, I just want to let everyone else know what was done, in case they didnt see the forums. I've been very pleased with these thus far. No, they do not have stamina edits. Thanks a lot Knight and everyone else for the great OSFM rosters.

Given how long this is taking would you be willing to post your list of edits so I could update them manually. Once they post 4.1 with the franchise file, I'd just need your edits to finally start my franchise. Thanks.
