You have to be kidding........QB contain is a complete joke on this demo, so is cover 3 zones against streaks, the DB's just stand there...
Heisman

My biggest defensive flaw is when my QB is having to chase down a DB because I forced another pass into coverage...lol

Seriously though...I held Mizzou and Texas to 7pts offensively(98yd TD pass...don't ask) and Florida State to a field goal.

Keying on receivers, mixing up my defense, and holding my own. Unfortunately my Louisville Cardinals won't have the same caliber of talent on defense like these teams do. Could struggle in the retail version.

Wow, this demo is humongous. It's going to take me over an hour to download on PS3 (getting about 1% every 40 seconds, very tedious). But good to see that from your impressions, it seems to be worth it.

Played Oklahoma vs Texas and I noticed field got worse as game went on but Oklahoma's white jerseys were sparky white clean does anyone know if jerseys wil get dirty as game progresses. Madden 08 I believe had the best beginning to end jerseys getting dirty!!

Just finished another game, first round of OSU & Miami. I was OSU and with their power ground game it was so clear how improved the OL and FB logic is with blocking. It's soooo nice to finally have your lineman and FB block the proper defender. I broke off two great runs thanks to pulling linemen and a key downfield block. The running game feels as good as it did in NFL2K5, just a blast. You can actually read the D and KNOW that they won't do some cheesy recovery and that your teammate won't run right past a guy they should block.

I picked off Miami twice, threw a 54 yard bomb for a TD and won 21-0. I'm a believer after this game, extremely impressed.

It's also amazing that default Heisman does not feel cheesy. It's amazing what this locomotion (or whatever it is) is bringing to the table. We may finally have a winner on our hands from EA.

I actually really like the camera angle.

Game just doesn't play right imo. Moves and looks all wrong. I'll play it more throughout the week, I just don't think EAs vision for football gameplay matches mine.

OK, I know alot of you have probably got this questions plenty of times in this thread, but how exactly do you access this demo? Do you get it directly from the 360? Or do you have to go on that xbox website to download it? I have gold btw

The only thing I really dislike is the playcalling; the interface is way too slow to the point where I'm running out of time to make defensive play calls.

That said, I give the demo 5 out of 5 Tebows, with significant praise to the presentation, the smoothness of the on-the-field gameplay, and that Ohio State handed me my butt on a silver platter on All American.

agreed..

For me it feels "unorganized". Not defaulting to obvious plays (punt, field goal, QB kneel) and the overall way its handled. Thankfully with this much time with the demo, I'll adjust to it, but really not a fan.

has anyone seen a penalty yet? 5 games and not one single penalty.

# 735 Deemarr22 @ 06/14/10 09:28 PM
Like others, the only thing I don't like is the play calling interface.

# 736 countryboy @ 06/14/10 09:29 PM
too bad there is no video upload...some runs that I would absolutely LOVE to show off.

The db's didnt do that stupid piggy back animation they actually played the ball.

No wide recievers were flipped.

i had one piggy back animation but it was a minor issue. on a user pick he jumped on my back when we were both in the air but i honestly can live with that. the demo is a solid 8 after initial play. ill delve deeper lata. let the hype wear off

No penalties. Hate the camera angle, and passing the ball is terrible. Seems like an arcade game with the slow replay like animation and stuff.

NCAA Football 10 was good in this aspect. NCAA Football 11 seems like it would suck and would make me break the game in half with that crap. It makes the game unplayable with crap like that. Too bad. Go back to what that was in NCAA 10, and then we'll talk. The new playcalling this sucks also.

Johnson has no stats from the 2009 season.

as opposed to someone like:
http://www.texassports.com/sports/m-...n_blake00.html

or
http://www.texassports.com/sports/m-..._keenan00.html

Gideon had 6 picks... Sam Acho had 9 sacks... Robinson is the top returning tackler... I doubt that roster guy, who has to pay attention to every single team, knows more about MY TEAM than me. The only thing that could make sense is that D. Johnson will be rushing the passer alot this year... he's a former sprinter.
