Welcome to EA where the AI is always overpowered on the highest level. But on a more serious note. I see Ncaa 11 Heisman setting being ala Madden 10 all pro level. The AI seems to know your every move and still gets there before your WR does. I still have that problem with EA on this issue. The AI still way to over powered on the highest level. I'm forced to play All American level so the AI want be so over power and superhuman. It doesn't make no sense why EA allows to be AI to be Superhuman no matter if it is on Heisman are not.

+ Really like the player models. Nicely detailed and proportioned

- Very little player interaction; pretty much all one-on-one interactions. Don't get much of an impact feeling

+/- Movement is kinda weird; seems like players are noticeably skating/floating above the turf when moving. But it's better than it's been previously next gen

+/- Presentation is okay. Like the unique intros. The "Tiburon-camera" on replays sucks; really brings overall presentation during games down imo. If they'd just gone with tv-style replays would've gone a long way imo. Not that big a deal overall but makes replays seem out of place

Overall I wouldn't stick it up there with the all-time NCAAs of the past but it's a definite improvement on what the game has been so far this gen.

What NCAA has been better? This demo is so great you are comparing it with the missing all-time greats. for EA. This game is epic!

ok I have play the demo I must say I was very impressed. presentation wise i loved it but it seem to stagger between cut scenes i dont know if its prebuild or what, but the game looks good. commentary well no lee corso in the booth so no 3 man team but it was decent. locomotion is drastic improvement from 10 to 11 the lighting the models are awesome. I have to test the ps3 version later to decide which version im going get. But know i'm getting this game without a doubt now

They just beat UF 14-7

I don't know a whole lot about their team in real life but I enjoyed playing with Ponder. Their pro combats look pretty sweet in the game.

This is REALL hurting this demo for me. No real QB pocket again this year, and the front 4 for either user or cpu is non-existent rushing the passer.

I'm holding out hope that this will be MUCH improved in Madden. It's soo frustrating having to blitz in order to get pressure in these EA games.

Dlineman look to be softies again this year. These guys should be reckless, and aggressively trying to get up the field creating havoc in the backfield.

Instead they engage in those silly animations with Olineman all the time, while providing no pressure what so ever.

I'm loving the cut scenes, especially after TDs.
I just got a big pass TD and after the PAT they showed the sideline where my players were all congratulating the QB. Little things like that add the authenticity.
EA has me impressed. It truly feels like college football. It's not just a generic football game with college teams...which is what 09/10 felt like.

It's good, but I feel like coverage could use some tweaking. I think I could go 5-wide the entire game and the computer wouldn't stop me once.

^ Also as pointed above (and probably contributing) is the lack of pressure by the d-line.

Since I am at work and have ps3 would someone be kind enough to shoot me some OSU numbers? Like wr#8 or anyone. I would really appreciate it.

Ok so your saying that Ponder has decent speed and good arm on the game because on NCAA 10 they clearly underated him!

Overall a good improvement for the series. Love the graphics and better presentation. Some tackle animations just look off however and don't display player momentum at all. Another thing that kinda has me worried was the success of the CPU onside kick. I was playing Texas vs. OU and was up by 17pts at the start of the 4th qtr when OU scored and then recovered an onside kick. It wouldn't have been so bad if only they hadn't successfully recovered 2 more onside kicks after that. Luckily I finally stopped them on their last drive but the fact they had 3 successful onside kicks in a row was kind of odd.

A few other things I've noticed:

- I really like how they put the amount of yards the FG is right by the FG play. The play looks like this: "Field Goal - 47 yards". That's a good addition that I never really thought of.

- Sometimes when you try to take off running with the QB, he hitches for a second as soon as he gets to the line of scrimmage. He'll be running full speed, and then all of a sudden he stops and has to start up again. It only happened a couple of times. Other times I took off just fine... I don't know what the deal was.

- My QB got sacked on a play while going out of bounds and he fumbled. After that, the bottom right part of the scoreboard (where the down and distance usually goes) had "Fumble" there the entire rest of the game. This made it extremely frustrating because sometimes I lost track of what down it was. I ended up going for it on 4th down on a play I didn't want to because of this.

Also, when the hell are they going to fix the sound effects? Before the game, the crowd and the sound inside the tunnel are great... but when you step on the field it's a completely different story. The hits sound nothing like they would on the field. Sometimes the crowd sounds like it's right next to you, and then the next minute they sound like they are actually in a stadium. The other team's return man just took a knee in the endzone, and I could hear his knee hit the ground like it was happening right next to me...

Really, the best sound effects on the field is the PA announcer.

A couple of questions

1) How are your AI controlled DL's playing?

Do we still see the patty-cake hand fighting, or are they getting after it in the trenches?

2) Can you user control a DE/DT, and have a effect on the game?

--Can you shed blocks, not be vaccumed into a blocker when you have them beat, and make plays?

3) The yellow zone robber and hook zone defenders

--are they closing aggresively, and covering the underneath slants and drags..or is the slot reciever still open 7/11, forcing us to have to manually play as a yellow zone defender, in order to take this away.

4) AI QB. Robo? Or does he play more like a real QB, reading the field.
