Love the idea of leading the receivers as well.

Ahh, can't see it right now! Looks like I'll have to wait until I get home.
People are going to whine about the QB throwing motion, but I love how simple the controls are. If this feels as good as it looks, this is going to be awesome.

It also appears that you can't pass the ball at any point during the route, you have to time your passes with the route the receiver is running, or it will be incomplete or picked. This is big to me, it makes the passing game more realistic.

Wow, gotta say I'm really liking the look of their passing controls. Looks to be a great way to show the QB's vision, but also keep it simple in scanning the field. Can't wait to see how it plays out.
Does anyone else think that the bomb that he throws goes too far too fast? It may just be the angle, but it looks like that ball was going to be thrown 80 yards and it was moving pretty fast.

That's was sick, Focus mode looks cool. That other vid had to be a old build! look at the line interaction much improved. I like how the defenders are trying to fight threw the line.

Everything looked great. The deep ball looked a little too fast, but I think the camera adds a little illusion to it where it zooms out, then gets close to the ball so the travel time appears shorter.
The passing system looked like the most realistic one I have seen. I can't wait to try it out! Also, by the way he described it, i would think it may be timing based...

Passing controls look great. I wonder how much after touch there is tho. I mean, can I throw high/low by pushing up/down or is it just for leading a wr.
Also nice they showed people you can turn off all the glowing players. People can stop whining about that.
The only concern I have about the vid is the pass defense looked a little slow to react at times, but developers usually use the easy levels for vids like these.

Now that was a great video. The recent gameplay video in Japanese or whatever it was didn't do much to catch my eye. Wow knew the blind side hits I've seen looked good but, blind side hits are going to be a thing of beauty in this game. I also loved the the mid air collision as the ball got intercepted by the safety(I'm assuming), It looked very natural. The throwing animation is a eye sore but, other than that this is the first video that I actually loved in a while.

:-) Looks amazing to me. I love all of the controls of this game, they're very interactive. This video just made me more impatient than I already was.
Looks Good. Adds a realistic sense to the passing game, focus, touch, etc. Although the throwing motion is ugly (along with some other animations), with the camera view I'd barely notice. Also i think its backwards, the lob should be up and the bullet/stronger throws should be back/forth, but you could argue either way.

On another note I liked how you can put some touch on your passing before the ball is released. The wide receiver catching animations just seemed to look better than in the past videos. I've seen one reach out and snatch one and the best thing I seen was a wide out having to reach behind him going across the field.
That was nice. Also liking the scheme they've implemented. Hopefully It's as simple as It looks but, also takes some skill to when actually playing.
I've never really expected much out of the passing game. Color me surprised. I think the new perspective will add a challenge to video game football passing that most vets of the genre haven't had to overcome in years.
I think it looks like a hell of a lot of fun. When in doubt, I'm gonna just lob a ball up high in traffic over the middle. That mid-air collision was beautiful. I'm not worried about my receivers getting injured.
