The crowd noise going in and out is just distracting the heck out of the experience. It was better before.

Damn. It's really that bad? Could it possibly be your TVspeakers/surround sound? If not, I really might not DL this patch. Thanks, and sorry about the issues, man. Bummer.

i did notice a two player contact layup... never saw it before... so they may have made some changes to it but i doubt that 2k made changes to the game that they didnt list so it may just be that i never saw it before...

i would post the video but i have less than 5 posts....

CPU is still throwing contested full court passes to players for easy dunks

Yeah it is THAT bad. And no it is not my TV. If you don't notice it you just must not be paying attention. You can hear the ball bouncing and there is no other sound at all, like a high school gym. I'm sorry but thats just a killer for audio in my book. But keep in mind, I'm speaking for myself.

When have you EVER seen a game on TV when the sound disappears for like 20 seconds at a time? An NBA arena is NEVER that silent homie.

I like realism. And bad sound can kill realism in a heartbeat.

Damn, that sucks, bro. I wonder if it is an isolated incident, or it is a problem with other users as well. I feel 'ya, though. Realism is a must, especially sound, chants, etc., which is why I went with the "other" game at first. But online cheesers got me to stray away, and that is why I picked up 2K10. Glad to see 2K devs continue to crank out the patches, though. Hopefully, the sound glitch is just an isolated incident (and you find a way to fix it).

*Does anyone else seem to notice an audio problem/glitch with the new patch?*

Perhaps a scratched CD? Let us know, thanks!

I'll be honest, I think a lot of you guys are imagining amazing changes to the gameplay. The patch wasn't designed to change the shot success of the CPU or really change the defense, other than making passing harder out of the doubleteam and punishing long passes. I think there may be some placebo effect going on here.

The only real change I saw was fewer passouts when guys attacked the basket. I'm speaking about association games, not online or myplayer or any of that stuff.

And since I and many others tend to post the bad stuff here, I will say one of the coolest things happened in my game today. The previous game my Pistons team upset the Cavs and had Lebron and Tyrus Thomas in early foul trouble. My next game, Clark Kellog actually pointed out how successful we were in getting top players in early foul trouble when my previous game was mentioned and the score put on screen.

I find that it's a bit more difficult to draw fouls in the post. Before, I could just hold R2 (RT on Xbox), initiate that weird contact in the paint animation, and get a call almost everytime

In the game I just played, there were numerous occasions where I didn't get that call.

Also, I noticed that some of my guys were actually taking jumpers in the low-post. Before, they would always initiate one of the post animations.

I didn't say there was no crowd noise. I said it goes in and out. If you don't notice it then you're right...you don't know what I'm talking about. Because it is there.

They cheer a basket and then when the buzz dies down it falls off to where the only sound period is the ball bouncing. And it stays that way until something happens again. No arena is THAT quiet cousin. C'mon now.

A few quick observations:

1) I cannot stand this ticker bar on my screen. It's just a little annoying.

2) The game just feels a little better. Can't put my finger on it yet.

3) CPU players still pass all funky out of drives to the hoop with those crazy Coolio jump passes. Looks like some tweaking will still need to be done for the passing out/attack tendencies.

Actually it didn't start with the patch. It just got worse from it. Now I'm only talking audio...the game itself is good.

I played a game last night and the crowd noise stopped maybe once, before the patch.

Maybe its the arena. Because some arenas cause the game to act kinda funky, like Dallas with the music not stopping when play resumes. Or Orlando where the spotlights won't stop after timeouts.

Anyway, the crowd noise was really cutting out bad in Philly's arena. I don't care what anybody says. Its there.

Did they really make it harder to pass out of double teams? That sucks cause it already is hard to pass out double teams once your trapped in for around two seconds every pass gets deflected

Ron mentioned that there were also other tweaks made in the game that was not on the list, just encase they did not work like they were suppose to they would not have a bunch of people flooding there site complaining that 2k f'ed up again.

do you have to restart your my player after the patch

Just downloaded the patch. Added Pippen and Rodman to the Bulls and they still vanish. Looks like 2K didn't fix this problem again.
