Is my player mode still freezing after the first season or is it just my pS3? can someone tell me how to fix this problem or do I have to start a new one?

Anybody else notice a clicking sound when you shoot the ball at your hoop?, its kind of annoying.

In my previous association, this did not lead to any trading, including the guys i had on the block (although they've only been on the block for a week). In this new association the trading was insane. In fact the CPU did the very things that made me go to controlling all 30 teams. Twenty Eight trades in two weeks. Here's some of the real classics:

Jameer Nelson for a 1st round pick (apparently the Magic have given up on the title already a week into the season)
Michael Conley for Jason Thompson (the kings have no size and now get another guard)
Anderson Varejao for Kyle Korver
Delonte West (traded for the 2nd time in a week) for Andrew Bynum
Kelenna Azubuike also traded twice in a week this time for Johnny Flynn
TJ Ford (already traded once) for Trevor Ariza (already traded once)
Michael Redd for Shaq
Raymond Felton for OJ Mayo
Michael Redd for Zach Randolph
Ray Allen for Vince Carter
Raymond Felton for Andre Miller
TJ Ford (hitting the trifecta) for Jose Calderon now these guys were actually traded for each other originally, now they are traded again

Wow. Apparently letting Assistant's trade in a 30 team league is even worse than regular CPU trading when you controll just one team. So my question is, with this patch, if I turn off Assistant trading and put guys on the block, will the CPU only trade those guys (so I can easily fix it if need be) or is this the level of trading that will occur period and I just need to go back to facilitating all trades myself?
LOL

the Pistons made like 10 trades in my association.

they traded Rip Hamilton and Prince, traded the players they received in these trades. then traded back for Hamilton with the players they got from that trade. Then they traded Hamilton for Prince and i'm still a month away from the trade deadline. wonder who they'll trade to get Hamilton back... Kirk Hinrich is currently the "star" of the team. But I made that trade. Expiring contracts for the win. 2010 free agents here I come!

Be patient. There's a chance they've done testing and won't pass it due to the issues the patch is creating.

But some dev could come here and tell us something...we are in the internet era,it's not difficult...

I wish they would have done this for the PS3.

You saying the same thing everyday is not going to make it happen any faster. Once they submit patches it's completely out of the devs hands so even if they were around they have no control over when it gets released.

if we can get back on topic here with people providing insight based on their gamplay experiences resulting from the use of the new patch, then it would appreciated.

Dont mean to go off-topic here, but i just wanna let the 360 users know this piece of info........

A Mod on the 2K forums actually said that the patch size exceeded Microsoft's file limitations.....so they had to send the patch back to revise it. I think this was done around the same time the PS3 patch was released.

But Microsoft currently has the revised patch and according to the Mod, it should be released very soon.

Anyways, the patch has been in Microsoft's hands for a while. The patch was resubmitted before the start of January. Microsoft takes longer to approve patches than Sony does. The patch for both systems are exactly the same. The MS patch was completed and submitted first, and then it was returned, and both patches were submitted at the near same time (in fact, the resubmitted patch went to MS first). 2K attempts to provide MS earlier so that both patches will release around the same time, but since the MS patch had to be resubmitted (though still before Sony), the PS3 received their patch first.

No one knows when MS will upload the patch.
Thanks sleepytercel for the exhaustive explanation.
This is just what I was looking for.

sleepy, any idea if the re-submitted patch fixed any issues that were found by the PS3 guys like the bigmen 3 pt. shooting tendency glitch?

The second patch definitely increased the chance of CPU passing out of a shot, but this one is ridiculous: Anthony Parker posts up, turns around and goes up for the fadeaway...

..and then comes down to set LBJ up for an open look:

It has happened only once, though.

He said the resubmitted patch went to MS before the patch was submitted to sony, so nothing would be changed.

Any word on this 3pt thing, we can't just leave it like this until 2k11.

For the people that are too lazy to look back at page 1 for patch details that have been out for weeks...

i think he's referring to the issue that the patch created where it actually makes this problem very regular where bigmen are shooting 3s and long 2s when you play and sim.

# 319 rspencer86 @ 01/18/10 05:06 PM
Does anyone else find it weird that 2K somehow didn't know the file size limit that Microsoft has for patches? That seems like a really stupid reason to have to resubmit a patch.
